Bullying does not begin in school, and neither does kindness. Both are often learned first at home.

As parents and guardians, let us take time to teach our children about the different forms of bullying and help them understand that words, actions, and even online behavior can deeply affect others.

But more than teaching, children need examples. They learn more from what they see us do than from what they hear us say. If we want respectful, kind, and compassionate children, we must first become respectful, kind, and compassionate adults.

Let us remind our children every day: treat others with kindness, stand up for those who are being hurt, and never be afraid to speak up.

Most importantly, let us be the role models our children deserve. Because the values we live today become the values they carry tomorrow.Hashtags:
