"WHEN GOD BRINGS HONEY OUT OF THE LION
📖 Judges 14:8–9 (NIV)
"Some time later, when he went back to marry her, he turned aside to look at the lion's carcass, and in it he saw a swarm of bees and some honey. He scooped out the honey with his hands and ate as he went along..."
The very thing that once tried to destroy you may become the place where God reveals His greatest blessing. What once made you weep can become the testimony that makes others believe. Only God can bring honey out of a lion.
There are moments in life when we stand face to face with lions—trials that threaten our peace, disappointments that steal our joy, and battles that leave us wondering if we will ever recover. Samson's encounter with the lion reminds us that every believer will face seasons of conflict. Yet the story does not end with the roar of the lion; it ends with the sweetness of honey. God is able to transform the place of your greatest struggle into the source of your greatest testimony.
When Samson returned and found honey inside the lion's carcass, he witnessed something only God could orchestrate. No human wisdom could have predicted that sweetness would come from death. This is how God often works. He brings life where there was loss, hope where there was despair, and joy where tears once flowed. His power is displayed not by avoiding impossible situations, but by redeeming them.
Many people pray for God to remove every lion from their path, but sometimes God allows the battle because He already knows the blessing waiting on the other side. Your hardship is not always a sign that God has abandoned you. Often it is the very place where He is preparing a miracle that will strengthen your faith and encourage others."
