Culmination Day
The Summer Reading Program of Platon Esperanza Taguding Elementary School was a momentous occasion, marking the end of a fruitful journey of reading, learning, and growth. Parents, tutees, tutor-volunteers, teachers, school admins, and other stakeholders gathered to celebrate the achievements of the young readers.
The Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Badtasan represented by Barangay Kagawad Rebecca T. Luna, Committee on Education and SK Chairman Ariel M. Sugado highlights their support for the education and community development. The school's PTA President Lo**ta Talilisan, School Principal Lilia Fantone through Master Teacher Mary Ann D. Valdez, and Richard Casindac, CAEd Head of Goldenstate College of Kiamba were also present and demonstrate the positive impact of community engagement.
The tutees showcased their creativity together with their tutors from Goldenstate College of Kiamba. Tutees who excelled in the program were recognized and awarded for their achievements. They also received their free learning kit and snacks. While the tutors, teachers and stakeholders who participated in the program received their certificate of appreciation.
It was a joyous celebration of reading, learning and community. The program has been a resounding success, and we look forward to continuing this initiative in the future.
