Starting 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, all students from JRMSU Dapitan, Dipolog, Katipunan, Tampilisan, Siocon Campuses, are required to strictly follow the prescribed student uniform — particularly the 2 inches below the knee skirt length for female students.

Students who fail to comply with the dress code will be barred from entering the campus.

𝗝𝗥𝗠𝗦𝗨, 𝗟𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗢𝗔 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
September 30, 2025—With the shared goal of connecting academic learning with real-world application, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU) and La Salle University-Ozamis (LSU) formally entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) during a ceremonial signing held at the AVR, Library, JRMSU Dapitan.
The MOA Signing Ceremony marked a historic milestone for JRMSU, as it officially opened its doors as a Host Training Establishment (HTE) for partner universities, reaffirming its competence in equipping students with meaningful, industry-based experiences that complement academic instruction. This initiative was made possible through the University Libraries under the Director for Libraries, Mr. Mark Andrew D. Bacordo, RL, MLIS.
In his opening message, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Jay D. Telen underscored the vital role of librarians in higher education institutions, particularly in advancing academic and research endeavors. He further emphasized JRMSU’s alignment with CHED’s ACHIEVE Goals in bridging theory and practice to prepare students for the demands of the professional world.
Meanwhile, JRMSU Vice President for External Affairs, Linkages and Resource Generation Dr. Joseph Salvel R. Campiseño reaffirmed the University’s dedication to forging strong academic linkages with LSU to elevate student competencies while instilling excellence, responsibility and service. In response, LSU Practicum and Placement Officer Ms. Shaira Joy Antoque expressed LSU’s equal commitment to the partnership.
Closing the program, Director for Libraries Mr. Mark Andrew D. Bacordo, RL, MLIS, extended appreciation to LSU Director for Libraries Dr. Monaliza M. Senining, who was instrumental in realizing this partnership, and acknowledged the joint efforts of both universities in ensuring the success of this collaboration.
The success of this endeavor was made possible through the full support of the University President, Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, underscoring the university’s strategic direction towards fostering strong partnerships.
Equally noteworthy was the work behind the partnership, alongside Dr. Senining’s efforts, through the guidance and commitment of the Library Practicum Adviser, Ms. Zosette S. Doctora, RL, MLIS, and LSU Practicum and Placement Officer Ms. Shaira Joy Antoque, with the trust and support of LSU President Br. Rey E. Mejias, FSC, which significantly contributed to making this collaboration a reality.
