𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗮ñ𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝘃'𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, 𝗰𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙪𝙜𝙪𝙨𝙩 06,2026

Malacañang has suspended work in government offices and classes at all levels in the National Capital Region (NCR) and 22 provinces, including Nueva Vizcaya, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, due to heavy rainfall brought by Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon.

The suspension was ordered through Memorandum Circular No. 122, signed by Acting Executive Secretary Ralph G. Recto. Agencies providing essential services, including health, disaster response, and public safety, will continue operations.

Governor Atty. Jose "Papa Jing" Gambito also shared the memorandum on his official page, urging Novo Vizcayanos to remain alert and take necessary precautions amid the storm. 𝙏𝙒𝙎

Anti-Bullying Campaign | July 2026

Kongkong Elementary School successfully conducted its Anti-Bullying Campaign as part of its commitment to ensuring a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly learning environment.

Through information dissemination, presentations, and advocacy activities, learners were reminded of the different forms of bullying and the importance of practicing kindness, respect, empathy, and responsible behavior.

The activity reinforced the school's commitment to the implementation of the DepEd Child Protection Policy, encouraging everyone to work together in creating a school where every learner feels safe, valued, and respected.

Awarding of Cleanliness | July 2026

As part of its continuing commitment to promoting a clean, healthy, and learner-friendly school environment, Kongkong Elementary School conducted the Awarding of Cleanliness for the Month of July 2026.

The activity recognized both teachers and learners who consistently demonstrated excellence in maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and sanitation of their classrooms and assigned areas.

This monthly recognition serves to encourage a culture of shared responsibility, discipline, and environmental stewardship among members of the school community. Through the collective efforts of teachers and learners, the school continues to foster a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment for all.

Kongkong Elementary School Recognized June 2026 Self-Esteem Awardees

In line with its commitment to the holistic development of learners through Project AWARDS, Kongkong Elementary School proudly recognized its Self-Esteem Awardees for the Month of June 2026.

Throughout the month, teachers conducted meaningful classroom activities that promoted self-esteem, self-confidence, resilience, and positive self-worth among learners. Through values integration and learner-centered experiences, pupils were encouraged to recognize their strengths, believe in their abilities, and develop confidence while showing respect for themselves and others.

As the culmination of the school's monthly values formation program, one outstanding learner from each grade level received a Certificate of Recognition for consistently exemplifying the value of Self-Esteem through confidence, responsibility, perseverance, and positive behavior. Likewise, a Certificate of Recognition was presented to the Self-Esteem Awardee Teacher in recognition of exemplary commitment to promoting positive values and serving as a role model in nurturing learners' confidence and character.

The recognition program was conducted under the leadership of School Principal I, Mr. Alexander O. Trinidad, whose steadfast support for values formation initiatives reinforced the school's commitment to developing confident, resilient, and values-driven learners in a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
