Dear Ma'am Belarmino:
Good Day! The Province of Zamboanga del Sur had already declared Community Transmission throughout the entire province. Positive COVID-19 cases are rapidly increasing and reports in COVID-19 related deaths rising. The Municipality of San Pablo had been categorized as High Risk an LGU Risk Classification based on the Situational Report of DOH Region 9 on May 20, 2021. With just a span of a week, the municipality recorded TEN (10) new positive Covid-19 cases. Our front liners were doubling their efforts to intensity our defense against this invisible adversary for the welfare of our society.
In behalf of the Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force COVID-19, and in the exigency of public health and safety, may we respectfully request that the distribution and retrieval of Learning Modules in the whole District of San Pablo be deferred until the safety from exposure to COVID-19 of all concerned be ascertained and suspension of the class/training on Work Immersion for the Grade 12 Senior High School Department Students on different schools within the District immediately. Contact-tracing of possible carriers and infected individuals are still on going.
Furthermore, symptomatic teachers who are currently serving in San Pablo District are requested for a work-from-home scheme/Home Quarantine in order to keep them safe from exposure, and vice versa.
