The La Future Educators Recreating Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Thinking Skills (La FERMAT) Club extends its deepest prayers and sends best wishes to 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗕. 𝗕𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗮, who is representing the Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (KCAST) and the province of Davao del Norte at the Philippine Statistics Quiz Regional Eliminations on this day, October 14, 2026, in Davao City.

May the stars align in your favor as you stand not just as a math major, but as a student who finds strength in numbers, purpose in academic pursuits, and faith in turning aspirations into reality. As you face your opponents, may God grant you clarity, calm, and focus, allowing the fruits of your hard work and preparation to shine.

The Collegial—The Official Student Publication of Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (KCAST) announces that the collection of a fee amounting to 50.00 pesos per student for the first semester will start on October 12, 2026, at The Collegial office located in the TESDA Building.

This applies to students who have not yet settled their payment for the first semester.

‎In celebration of World Teachers' Day, the Future Educators Recreating Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Thinking Skills (La FERMAT) Club expressed its heartfelt appreciation to its instructors by presenting bouquets and tokens at the Kapalong College of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology (KCAST) Gymnasium on October 5, 2025.
‎
‎The club emphasized that beyond the colorful flowers handed out by the officers, these tokens reflect the humblest gratitude of all math majors. The gift distribution was led by 𝗟𝗮 𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗧 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗼, who played a key role in making the event a success.
‎
‎For the club, the celebration was less about the gifts and more about the instructors who stood behind every lesson. It also noted that La FERMAT would not have found its direction were it not for the instructors' steady and unwavering guidance.
‎
‎In the world of mathematics, where answers are rarely handed over, the instructors taught students to value the process as much as the result. The members thanked all math instructors for showing that every problem has a path, and that no solution is ever reached without patience, precision, and perseverance.

‎More than a celebration, this day is a recognition of something beyond the mathematical concepts and formulas our instructors taught. Even if we say, "𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐲" and "𝐍𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐨𝐠 𝐧𝐚 𝐤𝐨'𝐬 𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧," there is a reason we attend your classes: more than generic and standard lessons, you give us empathy and sympathy that make our efforts seen, our oral recitations heard, and our academic perseverance counted.

‎We appreciate how you become a sage on the stage in a field that sometimes feels boring to listen to, yet still find ways to make us feel alive and make every meeting engaging.

[𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬] Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 136 issued by the Office of the President of the Philippines, and in observance of the 34th National Family Week under Proclamation No. 60, s. 1992, and “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day under Proclamation No. 326, s. 2012, work and classes in KCAST are suspended beginning at 𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 on MONDAY, September 28, 2026.

The suspension is intended to provide personnel and students the opportunity to spend meaningful time with their families and take part in activities promoting stronger family ties.

For the KCAST community, regular in-person transactions will resume on TUESDAY, September 29, 2026.

The La Future Educators Recreating Mathematical Aptitude and Analytical Thinking Skills (La FERMAT) Club extends its heartfelt prayers and warmest blessings to all BSEd Mathematics students taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers on September 20, 2026.

As you take the exam, enter the room with full faith that you can conquer it. Believe that this will be the first and last LET you will ever take. 𝑁𝑜 𝑟𝑒𝑡𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑛𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑒𝑑!

Remember, you are not just answering a paper that may shape your future. You are answering for the dreams of your family, your friends, the La FERMAT Club, the College of Teacher Education, and the entire KCAST community, who believe in you with all their hearts.

Trust the months of preparation, the sleepless nights, the difficult problems you refused to give up on, and the prayers whispered along the way. Every formula you studied and every answer you worked out has prepared you for this moment.

Take a deep breath. Stay calm. Believe in yourself. Fear is normal, but it can never take away everything you have worked for.

Go, future teachers. The classroom is waiting for you, and so are the students whose lives you will change.
