ROBOWHEELS: Innovation for every Juan Mobile ROBOTICS Education Caravan.
A wave of innovation and technological curiosity swept through students and educators as the Robowheel Caravan Exhibits for Robotics showcased the exciting world of robotics and engineering in Luna National High School and Luna Elementary School.
The activity was made possible through the support of the Marsman Drysdale Foundation Inc, headed by the Executive Director Ma’am Yvonne L. Biyo, whose commitment to advancing education and technology continues to open opportunities for learners in various communities. Through programs like the Robowheel Caravan, the foundation promotes access to modern learning tools and encourages students to discover their potential in robotics and innovation.
Partnering with the foundation is the Ateneo de Davao University Robotics Engineering Department, led by Engr. Ottomman Montani Jr., who shared valuable insights about robotics and its role in shaping the future workforce. Engineering students and experts from the university facilitated demonstrations and guided participants in understanding how robots are designed, programmed, and applied in real-world situations.
The event also gained strong support from the Department of Education – Division of Davao del Norte, represented by Ma’am Evelyn Grace Labasan Lhynne Gracie , EPS in Science. She emphasized the importance of integrating robotics and technology in education to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills among learners.
Through the Robowheel Caravan, students were able to witness robotics exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and engaging discussions about the role of technology in solving modern-day challenges.
More than just an exhibit, the Robowheel Caravan serves as a bridge between education and innovation. By bringing robotics closer to schools and communities, the program nurtures curiosity, empowers young learners, and strengthens the foundation for a technologically advanced future. And It carries with it a clear message: the future belongs to those who dare to explore, create, and innovate.
