Teachers may spend their days giving their time, patience, and love to our learners, but on this special Teachers’ Day Celebration, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the people who reminded our teachers that they, too, are loved, valued, and appreciated.

𝐓𝐨 𝐌𝐫. 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐍𝐮𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧, our heartfelt thanks for the generous food you shared with our teachers. Your kindness made our celebration even more meaningful.

Day 2 of our INSET at Sagana Elementary School was both meaningful and purpose-driven!

We were deeply guided by 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐮 𝐑. 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐫, who walked us through the vital 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 and its implementing guidelines—reaffirms our shared duty to keep every learner safe, respected, and protected inside and outside the classroom.

Following this, our very own School Head, 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚, 𝐄𝐝𝐃, delivered the latest 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐄𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬, aligning our practices with current standards and strengthening our commitment to quality, inclusive education.

Sagana Elementary School’s very own educators, led by our School Head 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚, came together for 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 — a time to upskill, exchange ideas, and embrace new teaching approaches. Every session is a step toward giving our learners the best education they deserve.

Our dedicated School Head, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃. 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐚, and the entire teaching team of 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 came together to carry out the 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 (𝐍𝐒𝐄𝐃) — even without our students on campus!

Preparedness knows no schedule! Teachers and staff actively practiced proper response protocols, evacuation procedures, and safety checks to ensure our school remains a safe, disaster-resilient learning space for everyone. We stand ready, always committed to safety and service for our learners and community.

A warm and productive gathering unfolded at Sagana Elementary School during our First Term PTA Conference, where parents, teachers, and school leaders came together to align goals and strengthen our shared commitment to every learner’s success!

The event marked the official and heartfelt introduction of our new School Head, Dr. Geraldine D. Coloma, to our valued parents. Her vision for inclusive, child-centered education set a positive tone right from the start. Essential orientations were also conducted, covering the 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒅 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚, 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝑬𝒅 𝑶𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑵𝒐. 15 𝒔. 2026 𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒕𝒂𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒘𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒐𝒇 𝒆𝒙𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑼𝒑𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍 𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑻𝒆𝒓𝒎.

These sessions empowered parents with clear, up-to-date information—deepening their understanding of school policies and equipping them to better support their children at home.

The conference became even more memorable when Dr. Coloma extended heartfelt tokens of appreciation to all parents in attendance! These small but meaningful gifts served as a warm gesture of gratitude for their unwavering support, active participation, and trust in the school. It was a beautiful moment that truly bridged the gap between home and school.

This gathering left a wonderful impact on our parents—many expressed feeling more informed, heard, and deeply valued as key partners in their children’s education. Strengthened, united, and ready, we move forward together for the best interest of every Sagana ES learner!
