CALLING ALL AGRI-FISHERY RESEARCHERS!

The 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 (𝗡𝗥𝗦) is open for paper submissions! Organized by the DA-Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR), this year's theme is "R4D Excellence: Driving Progress, Delivering Impact."

We’re inviting Filipino scientists and researchers from DA units and attached agencies, state universities and colleges, and other government institutions under the DA’s National Agriculture and Fisheries R&D System (NaRDSAF) that conducts R&D work in agriculture and fisheries.

Eligible papers must feature work completed between August 2023 and August 2026.

The NRS culminates in the AFMA Research Paper Award, which recognizes researchers whose work has delivered impactful technologies, information, processes, or systems to the agriculture and fisheries sector.

Sa unang webinar ng LINANGAN 2026-2027, babalikan natin ang pilosopiya at layunin ng GE bilang daan tungo sa paghubog ng mga estudyanteng may kakayahan, malasakit, at pananagutang panlipunan, higit pa sa mga espesyalisadong kasanayan. Pag-uusapan din natin kung paano hinuhubog ng mga kursong GE ang mga life skills gaya ng komunikasyon, kritikal na pag-iisip, teamwork, at etikal na pangangatwiran. Paano nga ba tumutugon ang mga kursong General Education sa nagbabagong kahingian ng mga estudyante at sa mga pangyayaring politikal sa ating lipunan.

For Cluster 3 – Development Initiatives for Inclusive and Resilient Communities, the evaluation panel will be composed of distinguished experts:

• A Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, Environmental Planner, and PhD in Development Administration;

• A former Director for Knowledge and Technology Transfer and Development (KTTD), with a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from Central Mindanao University and a PhD in Development Research and Administration; and

• A College Director for Research and Accreditation, with a PhD in Development Research and Administration and a Master’s Degree in Predictive Analytics in Asset Management and Productivity from Curtin University, Western Australia.

With their diverse expertise and professional experience, the panel will provide a rigorous, objective, and meaningful evaluation of development initiatives, contributing to the advancement of inclusive and resilient communities.

• A University Vice President, ASEAN Universities Network–Quality Assurance Assessor, and holder of two doctoral degrees, with a Master’s Degree in Educational Studies from the University of Newcastle, Australia;

• A Regional Gawad KALASAG awardee, with specialized training in Crisis and Disaster Management in Japan and Taiwan and a Master’s Degree in Crisis and Disaster Risk Management; and

• A PhD in Development Research and Administration and holder of a Master’s Degree in Educational Measurement and Evaluation from De La Salle University, Manila.

With their diverse expertise and professional experience, the panel will provide a rigorous, objective, and meaningful evaluation of research addressing key social, educational, governance, and disaster-related concerns, contributing to the advancement of inclusive, equitable, and resilient communities.
