Congrats Zac and Ma'am Leron.. Road to the National Festival of Talents (NFOT) at Roxas City, Capiz..👏👏👏

Following their recent win as Champion in the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) Read–A-Thon Advocacy Pitch, Zac Lawrence T. Tancinco (Grade 10–STE) and coach Delfina B. Leron (MT I) paid a courtesy call at the New Municipal Hall this afternoon, February 11, 2026.

They were received by Hon. Miguel Jorge P. Tan, Municipal Vice Mayor of Kananga; Hon. Minerva M. Bulawit, SB Chairperson for the Committee on Education; and Hon. Allan C. Espinosa, SB Chairperson for Sports.

Also present were Dr. Marivic R. Pajaron, KNHS Principal IV; Dr. Irene B. Olanda (MT I, SSLG Adviser); and Hazel N. Sanglitan (Senior Bookkeeper).

Tancinco and Leron, together with Elijah A. Obeña of Gregorio C. Catenza National High School and Elsa Avery S. Ducalang (assistant coach), make up the Eastern Visayas composite team that will represent Region VIII in the upcoming National Festival of Talents Read–A-Thon Advocacy Pitch competition.

The Pipelines, the official school and community publication of Kananga National High School, proudly congratulates the Leyte Division Team, Champion of the Regional Festival of Talents (RFOT) Advocacy Pitch, held at Sogod National High School, Sogod, Southern Leyte, from February 3 to 6.

The team includes: Zac Lawrence T. Tancinco – Kananga National High School (KNHS) and Elijah A. Obeña – Gregorio C. Catenza National High School (GCCNHS).

Coaches Delfina B. Leron (KNHS) and Elsa Avery S. Ducalang (GCCNHS) guided this talented composite team under the SDO Leyte Intensive Training Program.

The team will represent Region VIII at the National Festival of Talents.

We commend all participants for their dedication, teamwork, and excellence!
