Bridging Dreams to Reality: NLE Metacognitive Day 2026

On August 22, 2026, the ABL Sports Complex in Kalibo, Aklan, became a hub of academic excellence and shared ambition as the Aklan Catholic College (ACC) Faculty of Nursing hosted NLE Metacognitive Day 2026.

Bringing together clinical instructors, school staff, BSN students from Levels 1 through 4, alumni, and delegates from neighboring nursing schools across Aklan and Roxas City, the gathering served as a collective step toward licensure.

In partnership with the Carl E. Balita Review Center (CBRC), the seminar featured an esteemed roster of speakers led by CBRC founder and Ultimate Review Master Dr. Carl E. Balita, alongside Dean of Review Dr. Janus De Leon, Arren Mado, RN, Daniela Ann Mado, RN, LPT, MAN, and Mark Aron Martirez, RN, USRN, LPT.

Through rigorous test-taking strategies, metacognitive learning methods, and motivational discourse, the speakers equipped delegates with the critical-thinking frameworks and resolve necessary to conquer the Nurse Licensure Examination.

The event stood as a powerful testament to the ACC nursing community's dedication to turning professional aspirations into reality—truly where the dream and the dreamer become one.
