STI College Kalibo proudly celebrates the expertise of 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝘇𝗮 𝗧. 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗮, 𝗠𝗣𝗔, 𝗠𝗛𝗠, 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱/𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹, who served as Resource Person during the Seminar-Training on Sustainable Tourism Practices (Homestay Management) held on October 1, 2026, in Barangay Monlaque, Ibajay, Aklan.

Invited by the LGU Ibajay – Municipal Tourism Office, Ms. Sarabia shared her knowledge and insights in Tourism and Hospitality Management, helping equip community members with practical strategies for sustainable and effective homestay management.

The training was made possible through the municipality’s Gender and Development (GAD) Fund, supporting initiatives that empower communities and promote inclusive, sustainable tourism.

Big congratulations to 𝗖𝗱𝘁. 𝗚𝗦 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗗. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼, an STI Kalibo Information Technology student and one of three Girl Scouts from the GSP Aklan Girl Scout Council who will receive the prestigious Chief Girl Scout Medal this 2026! 🎖️

The Chief Girl Scout Medal Scheme highlights the Girl Scout’s role in nation building as exemplified by the Chief Girl Scout and her distinguished leadership and vital contribution to nation building. Under the GSP Charter, Executive Order 267, the Woman President of the Philippines or the First Lady shall be the Chief Girl Scout of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

For her project, “Project AraLaro: Combining Safe-playing and Learning,” Therese championed initiatives focused on health, safety, and learning, demonstrating how young leaders can turn ideas into meaningful action for their community.

She will receive her certificate and Chief Girl Scout Medal pin during the CGSMS Presentation Ceremony on December 10, 2026, at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.

Congratulations, Therese! Your achievement is a testament to your dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others. We are proud to have you as part of the STI Kalibo family! 💙💛

Science meets innovation! 𝗦𝗧𝗜 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗼 joins the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 (𝗥𝗦𝗧𝗪) happening on October 1–3, 2026, organized by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Western Visayas.
With this year’s theme, “Science, Technology, and Digital Innovation: Driving Food Security, Sustainable Energy, and National Resilience,” the celebration highlights how science and technology can create solutions for a more sustainable and resilient future.

On October 29, 2026, 𝗦𝗧𝗜 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗼 officially recognized its student organizations for Academic Year 2026–2027! 🎉💙

The recognition program was led by 𝗭𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗼𝘁𝗮𝘀, STI Guidance Associate, with Ms.𝗣𝗵𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮, Alumni and Placement Officer, delivering the opening remarks. She highlighted the importance of leadership, not just during our time in school, but as a value we can carry with us wherever our journey takes us.

That urge to repeat a sound or phrase because it feels satisfying or comforting can be a 𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺.

But where did the term come from? Vocal stim comes from 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜, short for 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛-𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙪𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙞𝙤𝙧. The term is often used when talking about neurodivergent people because repetitive sounds, movements, or phrases can be a way to get sensory input, regulate emotions, or find comfort.
