SHOOL PROFILE
Our Beloved school, St. Dominic School of Kalibo was named by DR. CHARLES C. VILLANUEVA a competent consultant in the field of education. He named it after Saint Dominic Savio, a patron saint of choir boys who had shown an invaluable service and love to God the Father. Certainly, this saint and his services to the Lord can inspire the pupils of St. Dominic School Of Kalibo. This unique name of our school is indeed appropriate to the inherent vision, mission, philosophy and objectives of the school. Actually, it was established by spouses, MR. PASTOR INING RUIZ and MRS. NECITA IGTANLOC-RUIZ assisted by their sons, RONALD I. RUIZ and RODERICK I. RUIZ. It was granted authority to operate under Government Permit (R_VI) No. E-165 S. 2009. Application Papers for Government Permit to operate the school and all Legal Papers were prepared by MRS. MARLENE U. DELA CRUZ, retired Principal of DepEd Makato, Aklan. Likewise, in the preparation of the school Curriculum, she was assisted by DR. MINVILUZ GARCIA-HIATT, a former professor in the Graduate School of Aklan Agriculture College now Aklan State University, Banga, Aklan. Nevertheless, the school formally opened on June 15, 2010 with an enrolment of 22 pupils in the pre-school level. The Teaching Staff was composed of only 3 teachers, namely, JANICE T. YAMOG, RENNA JANE IGUS-VILLEGAS and MARIA ELENA M. RESARE, 1 teacher-aide AILYN GLORY C. DELA CRUZ. Non-Teaching Staff Personnel were MS. NONEME M. TEODOSIO Registrar-Cashier and ARNEL RAYMUND U. DELA CRUZ, Security-Liaison Officer. In year 2011, NENITA R. ROSE-BICERA the former principal of KPES become the new principal of the school up to the next following years. Presently, for the year 2017, the New Building has built. Through over coming these years of development and evolution, Indeed the ST. DOMINIC SCHOOL OF KALIBO is apparently "YOUR DOOR TO THE FUTURE".
