In today's times, the inability to conform can lead to isolation or, worse, prejudice. Often, being different is viewed as something to be ashamed for. However, one student from Northwestern Visayan Colleges defied this notion. She fearlessly embraced her uniqueness, which ultimately led her to success.

Sharmaine Rose Acosta Reposar is a first-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration student who recently competed in the Muay Thai National Championships held from November 24-29, 2025, where she won a silver medal.

The College of Business Administration's Financial Literacy Seminar, held on November 14, 2025, was a resounding success. Featuring distinguished speaker Ms. Dearose M. Quimpo of Sun Life Financial, the event provided BSBA-Financial Management students with practical knowledge on budgeting, saving, and wealth management. Student engagement was high, with participants actively joining discussions and Q&A sessions. The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlights the seminar's relevance in producing well-rounded, financially literate graduates.
