KAINANG PAMILYA MAHALAGA DAY 2026

Aklan Polytechnic College joins the entire nation in celebrating Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day today, September 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM onwards.

In observance of this special day, APC will suspend classes and office operations starting at 1:00 PM to allow everyone to spend meaningful time with their families.

This observance is pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 326, s. 2012, declaring every fourth Monday of September as Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga Day. The 2026 Memorandum Circular No. 136 also encourages the private sector to suspend work to give Filipino families the opportunity to celebrate.

Let us pause from our daily routines and remember the importance of sharing a meal, sharing stories, and strengthening family bonds.

Because beyond the classroom and workplace, family is where learning, love, and life begin.

CBMUSTAHAN 2026: One College, One Vision, One Future 💙💛
Third Quarter Faculty Meeting

The College of Business and Management (CBM) of Aklan Polytechnic College successfully conducted its Third Quarter Faculty Meeting, or CBMUSTAHAN 2026, on September 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the APC Conference Room.

Led by Dr. Kiel Patrick I. Relimbo, Dean of the College of Business and Management, the meeting brought together the core faculty members of the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) and Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration (BSCA) for a productive discussion on academic development, program enhancement, quality assurance, and faculty matters.

Key Agenda and Discussions
The meeting focused on several important matters, including:
🔹 Proposed Revision of the BS Tourism Management Program – Discussions centered on curriculum enhancement and alignment to strengthen the program’s academic and industry relevance.
🔹 Proposed New Programs under the College of Business and Management – The proposed curricula for two new programs were presented:
Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, with a concentration in Cruise Ship Management
Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, with a concentration in Culinary Arts
🔹 Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the BS Tourism Management Program – Faculty members discussed preparations and key considerations for strengthening the program’s quality assurance and accreditation initiatives.
🔹 Second Semester Faculty Subject Loading – The meeting also addressed faculty teaching assignments and subject loading for the upcoming second semester.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Franz Daniel P. Neyra, Program Head of BSTM, and Mr. Ryan Regalado, Program Head of BSCA, together with the respective core faculty members of both programs.

The CBMUSTAHAN 2026 served as an avenue for meaningful dialogue, collaborative planning, and collective commitment toward strengthening the College’s academic programs and advancing its vision for excellence.
