PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE AND RELEASING OF TERM 1 REPORT CARDS
School Year 2026–2027
In line with DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, entitled Guidelines on the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar, the Joint Memorandum on the Adjustment of the Schedule of Learners’ Progress Report Card Distribution and PTA Conference, and School Memorandum No. 016, s. 2026, entitled Conduct of Parent-Teacher Conference and Releasing of Report Card for Term 1, SY 2026–2027, Bakhaw Norte Integrated School conducted its Parent-Teacher Conference and Releasing of the Term 1 Report Cards on September 18, 2026 @3:00pm.
The activity provided an opportunity for the school administration and teachers to meet with parents and guardians and discuss important matters concerning the learners’ academic performance, behavior, attendance, well-being, and overall development.
Among the major matters discussed during the conference were the following:
a. Reorientation on the Revised Guidelines on Classroom Assessment, Grading System, and Awards and Recognition, emphasizing the importance of understanding the revised assessment and grading procedures under the new three-term calendar;
b. Reorientation on Education in Emergencies (EiE), highlighting the roles of the school, teachers, parents, and learners in ensuring the continuity of education and the safety and well-being of learners during emergencies and disasters;
c. Reorientation on the “No Manners, No Move” Policy, reinforcing the importance of good manners, discipline, respect, responsibility, and proper behavior as essential components of the school’s learning environment;
d. Updates on the Attendance Tracking System, including the school’s efforts to strengthen attendance monitoring, facilitate timely communication with parents and guardians, and address concerns related to absenteeism, tardiness, and learners’ participation in school;
e. Learners’ Performance and Other School Concerns, wherein teachers and parents/guardians were given an opportunity to discuss learners’ academic progress, identified learning gaps, behavioral concerns, attendance, and other matters requiring collaboration between the home and school.
The conference emphasized the importance of strong home-school partnership in supporting learners’ academic success, personal growth, discipline, safety, and well-being. Parents and guardians were encouraged to maintain open communication with teachers and actively participate in interventions and activities designed to address the needs of their children.
The activity concluded with the distribution and releasing of the learners’ Term 1 Report Cards, providing parents and guardians with a clearer understanding of their children’s academic performance and areas for further improvement.
Through this activity, Bakhaw Norte Integrated School reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration among the school, parents, and community toward achieving improved learning outcomes and ensuring that every learner is guided, supported, and given meaningful opportunities to succeed.
