Bakhaw Norte Integrated School participated in the Learning System Reform Policies Orientation for Teachers conducted via MS Teams, with active engagement from the school principal and teachers from Elementary to Senior High School.

The activity aimed to enhance awareness and deepen understanding of the latest education reforms and policy directions while promoting unity, collaboration, and shared commitment among school personnel.

During the orientation, key updates were thoroughly discussed, including the guidelines on the three-term calendar system, lesson planning, classroom assessment, grading system and awards, Strengthened Senior High School program, Work Immersion, Flexible Learning Program, and Education in Emergencies. These topics were presented with emphasis on their direct implications for classroom instruction, assessment practices, and overall school improvement initiatives.

The session also underscored the importance of aligning school-based practices with current DepEd policies and standards to ensure the delivery of quality, responsive, and inclusive education. Through the orientation, participants gained valuable insights that will support the effective implementation of reforms and strengthen instructional practices within the school.

The school conducted the 2026 ARAL Summer Program Orientation to formally introduce the implementation of the Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program to parents, learners, and stakeholders. The orientation aimed to provide a clear understanding of the program’s objectives, structure, and expectations to ensure full cooperation and support from all participants.

We are also inviting external tutors who are passionate about teaching to join us and be part of this rewarding program. 💡✨

Eligibility for external tutors:

1. Licensed Teachers (Preferred)
*Holders of a valid teaching license (LET passers)
*Active or retired public/private school teachers

2. Education Graduates
*Graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) or Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd)
*Even if not yet licensed, they may be accepted depending on need

3. College Students (Education or Related Fields)
*Preferably in their 2nd year and above
*Taking up education, psychology, or subject-related courses (Math, English, Science)

4. Subject Matter Experts / Professionals
*Individuals with strong background in specific subjects (e.g., engineers for Math, writers for English)
*Must demonstrate competence even if not in the teaching profession

5. Community Volunteers
*Literate and capable individuals from the community
*With good moral character and willingness to be trained

6. Retired Educators
*Former teachers who can still contribute their expertise

The school successfully facilitated the installation of free WiFi provided by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for all learners, teachers, and staff.

This initiative aims to enhance access to digital resources, support teaching and learning, and improve communication within the school community.

The Grade 10 and Grade 12 learners participated in the 2nd Year Pilgrimage and National Women’s Month Celebration at the Missionaries of Charity on March 28, 2026.

This activity was held in line with the DepEd core values of MakaDiyos and Makatao, promoting faith, compassion, and service among the learners.

During the activity, the students donated food and essential supplies to the beneficiaries and shared snacks as part of their outreach initiative.The students were also given the opportunity to experience caring for the elderly, which helped them develop compassion, empathy, and respect for older persons. In celebration of National Women’s Month, the learners also offered flowers as a gesture of gratitude and respect, honoring all women present.

The activity was successfully carried out with the presence and support of their teachers, advisers, and the school head, making it a meaningful and spiritually enriching experience for all participants.
