Kumustahan sa Tahanan Beyond the Corners of Classroom

After nearly three weeks of suspended classes due to severe weather, teachers and a school head hit the pavement to bring the classroom to some learner's doorstep within the school's nearby vicinity. The Home Visitation Activity is designed to check in on our resilient learners, deliver fresh instructional materials, offer a helping hand with lessons, provide face-to-face academic support, and listen to any challenges a family might be facing so they can be helped navigate the adjustments ahead.

Another achievement unlocked!!

By working together, the community successfully completed a safe and vibrant learning space for our learners. Parents, neighbors, and local volunteers generously contributed their time and skills. This shared effort not only accelerated the project's completion but also proving what can be achieved when a community unites. Teamwork cut down the construction time significantly. And now, we have an improved, welcoming environment.

This collaborative initiative unites local residents and dedicated community stakeholders to address pressing neighborhood needs through collective action. By combining school resources with local expertise, the project fosters civic responsibility in learners while delivering tangible, lasting benefits to the community. Through shared decision-making and hands-on teamwork, this partnership strengthens local bonds and creates a more vibrant, supportive environment for everyone.

This project was funded by DRRM along with MOOE and BLGU.

With the theme " Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan ", a joint community and school program for nutrition month celebrations successfully took place through the collaboration of barangay Batan BLGU headed by PB Mike T. Botangen, DOH headed by ma'am Phranny Mae T. Abellera- Nurse II with midwife Judith Lesino, BHWs and PTA officers led by Dino Juan. With our municipal LAOO II and MENRO designate Ramsey T. Guansi as the guest of honor, nutrition essence filled the atmosphere with his message.

Different sources of healthy food were displayed by groups of stakeholders. The covered court seemed " market" with the fresh produce for sale from the community.

Likewise, different activities were showcased for everyone to participate in. With ma' am Phranny Mae T. Abellera as in- charge ,witty seniors were also given the chance to join the quiz bee about nutrition.

Fresh produce was judged according to its contribution for the benefit of our health. Eco- fashion too were presented as one of the highlights of the theme.
More importantly,this event once more reminded everyone to maintain a healthy lifestyle to enjoy longer existence free from diseases.

Thank you everyone for your effort and time to be a part of our culminating program! To the generous souls who contributed for the prizes, thank you too beyond words.May God who is never undone with graciousness bless you more and more.

In line with this month's culminating activity for nutrition programs, learners and teachers together with stakeholders participated in the " Kalinisan sa Barangay" clean up drive program .An initiative to maintain cleanliness and healthy surroundings,they picked trash along the way from their homes going to school. Upon arriving at school, they joined Zumba.
