Cyans made history for Talubangi NHS as TINTAcles 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗻𝘆𝗹𝗶 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗰𝗼 and 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝘇𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮 secured placements in the 2025 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), held on March 29-30 at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City.

Jungco placed 9th in Editorial Writing - English, while Malala earned 4th place in Feature Writing - English, marking TNHS’ first-ever individual placements in the competition.

Jungco, TINTA’s Editor-in-Chief, and Malala, the Feature Editor, competed in their respective categories alongside more than 2,000 campus journalists from 21 school divisions across Western Visayas.

The Schools Division of Kabankalan City earned four placements in the RSPC, two of which were secured by Talubangi NHS.

This year, the school sent nine campus journalists and seven coaches to the RSPC, including Jungco and Malala (Feature Writing - English), coached by Blossom Esloyo and Ma. Vida Isada, respectively; other participants were Hydaine Rose Malala (Editorial Cartooning-English, Nicole Andrea Perez (News Writing English), Raya Rose Sombise (News Writing Filipino), Jahziel Blaze Frogozo (SciTech Writing-English, Christian Pilar (Sports Writing-Filipino), Jean Rose Oyos (Editorial Writing-Filipino), and John Joseph Guzon (Copyreading and Headline Writing-English) , guided by coaches Paola Luz Cavile, Alma Manlapao, Sarah Grace Calamay, Retchel Sorrosa, and Orlando Bautista Jr. III , all contributing to the school and the division’s achievements.

These triumphs reflect the dedication and hard work of students, coaches, and the school community, bringing pride to Talubangi NHS and SDO Kabankalan City.
