Binicuil Elementary School Shines in Division Schools Press Conference, Advances to Regionals
Binicuil, Kabankalan City – Binicuil Elementary School proudly showcased its journalistic excellence in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC), bringing home multiple awards across various categories. The competition, held at Old Conference Hall on February 13, 2025, gathered young campus journalists from across the division, highlighting their talents in writing, broadcasting, and editorial leadership.
Binicuil Elementary School’s delegation impressed the judges with their outstanding performance, securing top ranks in News Writing, Editorial News, Editorial Cartooning, Sports News and Science and Technology. Their dedication and hard work have earned them a spot in the prestigious Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), set to take place in March 2025 at Iloilo City.
Benjie F. Gonzales, Principal of Binicuil Elementary School, expressed pride in the pupils' achievements, stating, “This victory is a testament to the talent and perseverance of our young journalists, as well as the unwavering support of our teachers and parents. We are excited for the Regional Schools Press Conference and will continue to prepare our pupils to compete at an even higher level.”
The school’s winning team, coached by Ryan Noel L. Linas, Mary Jane G. Nombre, May T. Moedin and Ellen Joy B. Miran, will now undergo intensive training to further hone their skills as they represent the division in the upcoming RSPC 2025.
