The KCC ROTC Unit successfully conducted its First Week of Instruction for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027 on August 8, 2026, marking the official start of the semester’s training and instructional program. The activity aimed to orient cadets on the upcoming semester while reestablishing discipline, teamwork, and military bearing.

The orientation was delivered by Sgt Rene P Escalona (MI) Ret PA on behalf of CPT JOSE S ROQUE (OS) PA, (NSTP- KCC ROTC UNIT COMMANDANT) ( Corps Commander A Y 2009 - 2010). The activity provided cadets with valuable guidance on the ROTC Program, discipline, military bearing, leadership, responsibilities, and commitment to service.

The orientation also served as an opportunity for cadets to better understand their duties and expectations while strengthening the values of discipline, teamwork, leadership, and camaraderie throughout their ROTC journey.

The KCC ROTC Unit extends its sincere appreciation to the KCC Administration, headed by REV. FR. RICHARD L. LACHICA, MAEd, KCC President, JOMAR O. AGUS, MAT, NSTP Director, 1LT NATHANIEL JAN G. CELIZ PA (RES), Assistant Commandant, Tsg Elreih Eric C Aromin (Inf) PA, Admin NCO, Sgt Elviro E Apawan Jr PA (Res), ROTC Coordinator, and our dedicated ROTC personnel, Tsg Dionisio S Piduhan PA (Res), Sgt Mannel F Correjado PA (Res), Sgt Agustin T Berbastillas PA (Res), and Sgt Christine T Apawan PA (Res), together with our Graduate Military Assistants (GMA), for their unwavering support, guidance, and commitment to the successful conduct of our activities.

As we begin another academic year, may every cadet continue to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and service throughout their ROTC journey.

The NSTP–ROTC successfully conducted its Student Orientation on July 28, 2026, welcoming a new batch of first-year students. The activity marked the official start of their journey toward becoming responsible citizens committed to leadership, volunteerism, and nation building. The program formally commenced with the opening remarks delivered by Dr. Alfredo M. Calama-an, RCrim, MPA, PhD, on behalf of Rev. Fr. Richard L. Lachica, MAEd, President of Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc. In his message, he warmly welcomed the students and encouraged them to embrace the National Service Training Program as an opportunity to develop leadership, discipline, civic responsibility, and a genuine commitment to serving their communities and the nation.

The orientation was led by the keynote speaker, Jomar O. Agus, MAT, NSTP Director, who provided an insightful overview of the program's goals and significance. He emphasized that NSTP serves as a platform for developing young individuals equipped with the knowledge, values, and skills necessary to become active contributors to society. He also highlighted the program's vital role in instilling patriotism, volunteerism, and social responsibility among the youth.

Throughout the session, students were introduced to the legal foundation, vision, mission, and the three components of NSTP. Discussions focused on civic consciousness, community involvement, and the importance of leadership and public service. More than fulfilling an academic requirement, the orientation reminded students that NSTP is an opportunity to cultivate discipline, strengthen character, and embrace a lifelong commitment to nation-building. As they begin this new chapter, they are challenged to become catalysts for positive change and uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in everything they do.

The NSTP community expresses its sincere gratitude to the Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc. Administration, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Richard L. From Cadet to Officer. From Training to Leadership.

July 11, 2026 the KCC ROTC Unit proudly recognized the 22 cadet officers graduates of the ROTC Summer Camp Training (RSCT) and the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) of Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc., who have officially earned the rank of Captain.
