Aiming to help the school in molding Christian leaders from its studentry, NSCA Youth Christian Circle was established. As the name it bears, it is composed of christian young people studying here in Negros State College of Agriculture. e chance to worship God and offers ample time to mingle and acquaint themselves with their fellow christians from different places. It was in the year 1995 when Pastor Dennis Alabi and a NSCA student, Rebecca Eponde have joined the fellowship together with the Abadas at Tagukon church wherein they have agreed to put up a campus ministry that could be an instrument to gather christian students in NSCA and together glorifying God of the seventeen attendee of the first meeting, it was Rebecca Eponde who is the only girl. After three meetings, the attendance grew bigger that instead of having the fellowship in Mr. Abadas house, they ask the permission to use the Room one in the 18 rooms building. As time passed by, their venue also changes from Room 1, MPLC to School Canteen to Mt. Ballo to Conference Room to Research back to Mr. Abadas Residence and now at AVR of Animal Science Building. For five years, it was Pastor Hagurin who has served the NYCC. He was then succeded by his very own student, Pastor John Antolo, presently he is the Resident Pastor. As one of the founders of NYCC, Rebecca Eponde became its first President. Its set of Officers changes every generations as the seniors graduated and freshmen came in. This years active Officers are being lead by Jesiel dela Cruz. NYCC is really a good help to NSCA as it plays a big part in every students life in the institution. It is the foundation and inspiration to every christian to hold on to their faith to Christ. As required, NYCC is renewing for its recognition from school every year. Thus, NYCC is a recognized Campus Ministry in NSCA. Regine Flor
