True to this year's theme, "Five Teams, One Spirit: United in Sports, Stronger Together," the event showcased not only physical strength but also teamwork, determination, and unwavering school spirit.

In line with the celebration of Matama Elementary School's Sports Fest 2026, carrying the theme "Five Teams, One Spirit: United in Sports, Stronger Together," the school successfully held the much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Sports Fest 2026 on July 19, 2026.

Representing the five competing teams, namely: 💚 Green Crushers 💙 Blue Titans ❤️ Red Howlers 💛 Yellow Stingers 🧡 Orange Blazers

The candidates confidently showcased their charm, wit, talent, and sportsmanship before the school community.

The competition was evaluated by the distinguished panel of judges: Mr. Raul A. Mambalos, Principal I and Ms. Chenee Bravo F. Bravo, Administrative Officer II.

📣🏆 ONE MATAMA 2026: Opening Salvo of Matama Elementary School Sports Fest 2026 🏆📣

With the theme "Five Teams, One Spirit: United in Sports, Stronger Together," Matama Elementary School officially opened its much-awaited Sports Fest 2026 on July 19, 2026, bringing together athletes, learners, teachers, and stakeholders in a celebration of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and excellence.

The program commenced with an inspiring opening prayer led by Mrs. Rowena N. Fontanilla, Teacher III, seeking guidance, protection, and success for all participants throughout the event.

A highlight of the ceremony was the lighting of the torch, symbolizing the spirit of sports and fair play, led by Andrea Bliss S. Tanco of Grade 5-Zinnia, who proudly represented our school at the Regional Level for Badminton Girls (Doubles).

The event was formally welcomed and declared open by our ever-supportive School Principal, Mr. Raul A. Mambalos, Principal I, who encouraged everyone to embody teamwork, discipline, and respect as they compete in the various sporting events.

Bravo, Administrative Officer II.

After an energetic showdown among the five teams, the Blue Titans emerged victorious and proudly claimed First Place in the Yell Competition! 🎉💙👏
