โ€ŽKabankalan Catholic College, Inc. (KCC) announced the suspension of classes and office work on Friday, August 21, 2026, in observance of Ninoy Aquino Day, pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 1006, s. 2025, declaring the regular holidays and special non-working days for the year 2026.

โ€ŽIn view of the special non-working day, all classes and office operations at KCC will be suspended on August 21. The school encouraged the KCC community to use the day off as an opportunity to rest, recharge, and spend meaningful time with family and loved ones.

โ€ŽKabankalan Catholic College, Inc. (KCC) conducted a benchmarking exchange with Cabarrus Catholic College, Inc. (CCC) on August 17 at the Student Affairs and Servicesโ€™ Collaboration Room, bringing together representatives from various institutional offices to discuss operational practices and programs.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAnchored on the theme, โ€œTogether Toward Excellence: KCC and CCC in a Benchmarking Exchange,โ€ the activity brought together representatives from various KCC offices to present their respective systems, practices, and programs.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe exchange opened with Gilbert Intervalo Jr., Human Resource and Organizational Development Director, who presented KCCโ€™s human resource practices and organizational development initiatives. School Registrar Fellame T. Monteclaro, MBA followed with a discussion on office operations, documentary processes, digital records management, and the credit transfer system. Chrislene Felicia, RL, School Librarian, then presented the libraryโ€™s operations and resource management.

โ€ŽThe discussion proceeded to student publication management, with Kyla Jade D. Gonzales, Publication Coordinator, presenting the organizational environment, workflow, and standards of The KCC Chronicle.

โ€ŽAcademic program documentation was also discussed by Dr. Eliand Rey Soliman, LPT, Dean of the College of Management, Accountancy, and Technology (CMAT) Department. He presented the processing of documentary requirements for new curriculum programs, particularly the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA).

โ€ŽMeanwhile, Paul Melcar C. Paglomutan, MAED, Research Director, discussed KCCโ€™s research environment, while Jomar O. Agus, MAT, Extension Director and NSTP Coordinator, presented the institutionโ€™s Extension and NSTP programs.

โ€ŽThe benchmarking exchange provided both institutions with an opportunity to compare practices, share experiences, and gain insights into their respective institutional operations.

The application period for The Orange Folder has officially concluded, marking the beginning of the next phase in the selection of prospective members of The KCC Chronicle.

Applicants who have qualified to advance to the Screening will proceed to the next stage on August 17โ€“18, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at the College Library.

The KCC Chronicle extends its sincere appreciation to all applicants who responded to the call for aspiring campus journalists and expressed their interest in contributing to the Chronicleโ€™s commitment to truth, integrity, and responsible journalism.

Qualified applicants are advised to take note of the screening schedule and venue and to come adequately prepared for the assessment.

๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ | Guided by the theme, โ€œForming KCCIANS as Servant Leaders of Peace, Justice and the Care of Our Common House,โ€ student leaders of Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc. (KCC) came together on August 15, at the St. Columban Arts Center, for the Leadership Talk 2026.

The session featured Gilbert Intervalo, Jr., Human Resources and Organizational Development Director of Kabankalan Catholic College, Inc., who shared insights on leadership, service, and responsible stewardship. The training brought together Class Mayors, Club Officers, Council Officers, SSAO Officers, SSAO Committee Members, CWTS, and ROTC students to further strengthen their leadership skills and deepen their commitment to responsible service.
