Success is built through preparation, perseverance, and the courage to learn beyond the classroom.

Congratulations to our 3rd Year Hospitality and Tourism Management students of Southland College Kabankalan City for successfully completing the 11-day Basic Training under SOLAS at John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University โ€“ Molo, Iloilo City, held from July 6 to July 17, 2026.

Throughout the training, the students gained practical knowledge and essential safety skills through the following components:

Every journey begins with a single step, and for our freshmen and transferees, that journey starts with Imbukada 2026โ€“2027. As we officially welcome the Academic Year 2026โ€“2027, we celebrate new beginnings, meaningful connections, and the countless opportunities that lie ahead.

Our newest Southlanders were warmly welcomed through a campus tour, allowing them to become familiar with their new environment while experiencing the genuine hospitality that defines the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. The celebration continued with light snacks, refreshing drinks, and thoughtfully prepared souvenirs, creating a warm and memorable first-day experience.

More than a welcoming program, Imbukada reflects our commitment to fostering a community where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired from the very beginning.
