Pinaguinpinan National High School joins the Simultaneous Clean Up Drive in celebration of the National Clean Up Month this September with the theme, "Clean Seas for Blue Economy."

The Clean Up Drive was conducted at the immediate sorroundings of Pinaguinpinan National High School between 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning, September 25, 2024. Teachers and students from Grade 7 to 12 along with the SSLG and Yes O officers embodied unity as they clean up the school compound and streets near the school.

"Let us kept our school clean, safe and free from garbages. Let us join hands to protect our mother earth, let's think green, not just for today's generation but for the future.", Marjolan Returan, YES O adviser said.

Pinaguinpinan National High School joins DepEd's 236,000 Trees- A Christmas Gift for the Children Project, December 6, 2023.
Students from various organizations and teachers join hands to share and plant their precious gifts this Christmas season to Filipino children and future generations.
Seedlings of fruit bearing trees were planted at the adopted area for the school's mini forest, a proposed project under the YES-O.
Marjolan Returan, School Yes O Adviser and YFD Division Federated President said that a total of 70 seedlings were planted at the school ground, higher from the required 5 seedlings per school.
DepEd's 236K Trees - A Christmas Gift for the Children is an initiative that aims to promote environmental preservation and instil environmental responsibility among Filipino children.

The Clean Up Drive was conducted at the immediate sorroundings of Pinaguinpinan National High School between 7:30 to 9 in the morning, September 14, 2023. Teachers and students from Grade 7 to 12 along with the YES O officers embodied unity as they clean up the school compound and streets near the school.

"Let us kep our school clean, safe and free from garbages. Let us join hands to protect our mother earth, let's think green, not just for roday's generation but for the future.", Marjolan Returan, YES O adviser said.

The Simultaneous Clean Up supports the - Lets do it Kabankalan City, The Journey Continues Campaign, a volunteerism movement to mobilize 5% of the total population to participate in nationwide Clean Up in a day.

JCI commends 30 young leaders of SDO Kabankalan City

Pinaguinpinan National High School JHS Yes-O President Juliel Casildo recieved the Youth Leadership Excellence Award along with PNHS YES-O adviser Sir Marjolan Returan at Kabankalan City Function Hall, August 19, 2023.
The Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA) is one of the flagship projects of the Junior Chamber International- Philippines. It's objective is to give due recognition to the outstanding public and private elementary and high school students and to inspire them towards greater achievement.
Juliel Casildo was PNHS JHS Yes O President, a consistent honor student who topped the JHS completers in SY 2022-23 also excel in extra curricular activities not just for his fellow students but in his community. He was an active officer - implementer of the Yes - O program and activities, school innovation projects especially the reading and feeding activities. He was also an active altar server and youth leader in church who gathered his fellow students to join the ministry. A campus journalist since elementary who represented the school in division up to the regional schools press conference. Casildo recieved his first Youth Leadership Excellence Award from the JCI during SY 2018-19 for his commendable service being the SPG president of Pinaguinpinan ES.
"Today's event is a recognition of young leaders contribution to the improvement of educational systems and processes. This also a celebration of youth engagement in our Division and Schools. This will be a testament that when our youth are engaged, we not only prepare them to be leaders of tomorrow but vibrant, dynamic leaders of today.", Sir Gerald Tampico, LFD Project Development Officer 1said in his message read by Sir Marjolan Returan, Regional Chairperson in YLEA and Federated YES-O president in JHS.
As response from the awardees, Gian Michael Ramirez from Kabankalan NHS pointed out that leadership is an option, not a position. They are youth leaders not just in paper but leaders who are willing to prove the extra minds for all of the learners.
Youth Leadership Excellence Award is a partnership between JCI-CHICKS United, YLEA Committee and Learners Formation and Development Unit of SDO Kabankalan City. It is an opportunity to acknowledge learner leaders that excel in their leadership and actively worked for their respective organization.

NATION CELEBRATES SYNCHRONIZE NATIONAL EARTH DAY, PINAGUINPIAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL JOINS THE CELEBRATION.
Pinaguinpian National High School joins the synchronized celebration of National Earth Day on May 22, 2023 at Pinaguinpinan National High School compound.
The activity was spear-headed by the Yes-O officers and students were they planted fruit bearing trees around the school campus and join in the poster and slogan making contests.
"This is a synchronized tree planting where students, teacher and citizens in our country will plant a tree as participation in the celebration.", Sir Marjolan Returan, Yes-O Adviser and Science Teacher said.
This years theme, "Invest in Our Planet" encourages everyone to unite in partnership for the planet and invest their time, money and effort into protecting the Earth and ensuring its sustainability.
"In just simply planting trees, we are helping our Earth. We must take good care of our planet, invest in it, because not only us will benefit, but the future generation as well.", Juralen Escribano, Yes-O President said during an interview.
The Earth Day celebration first started in 1970 when million of Americans protested against pollution. Since then, the celebration have grown and become the most environmental celebration in the world. Juliesa Thea N. Casildo.

PINAGUINPINAN NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL JOINS THE CELEBRATION OF NATIONAL EARTH MONTH
Students from Grade 8 and Grade 9 participated in the clean-up-drive on May 12,2023 at Pinaguinpinan National High School compound. The idea was brought up by Sir Marjolan Returan, Science Teacher and Yes-o Adviser.

"Since May is the National Earth Month. I want everyone to find a partner and bring a garbage bag for our activity. The goal of this activity is to clean our school surroundings and help our environment. Whoever gets the most trash will win a special prize.", Sir Marjolan Returan said to raise the excitement of students.
100 pesos was given to students with the most garbage collected from Grade 9 Purity while Grade 9 Glory shared snacks together after the activity.
"That was fun, we don't only help our environment but got a chance to strengthen our friendship as classmates by working together to accomplish the task for our environment.", Keana Teves said, a Grade 9 student.
Grade 8 students on the otherhand, planted vegetables and medicinal plants in the school garden.
