As the 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗥𝗧𝗟𝗘) draws near, let’s review the clusters and their subject composition for the board exam.

𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 💛

BSRT and ARTS joined the community extension activity at 𝗦𝘁𝗼. 𝗨𝗯𝗮𝘆, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗶𝗹, where we visited households and conducted a simple survey about their health needs, concerns, and access to healthcare services.

Our 𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗮 joined us and shared her time in serving the community, together with the AHC student leaders from BSP, BSMid, and BSMT.

The activity was spearheaded by the AHC faculty, led by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗼, 𝗔𝗛𝗖 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, and 𝗣𝘁𝗿. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗼, 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻-𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲.

We met and welcomed our first-year RADmates and spent time together through fellowship and games. We also had an orientation about the BSRT program and other important matters. We also elected the new set of ARTS Officers for AY 2026–2027.

Thank you, The Channel! ☝️

To help students understand the expectations of the BS in Radiologic Technology program, the department held its Welcome Orientation 2026 last Friday, September 11, at the FBC Gymnasium.

The orientation was organized to familiarize radtech students, particularly the first-years, with academic and clinical expectations.

Miss Jixin Mae G. Villegas, RRT, MSRT, the program head and clinical coordinator, highlighted that being a radiologic technologist is not simply about completing the degree, but also about preparing oneself to become a competent and trustworthy radtech and healthcare practitioner.

After introducing the staff, rules and regulations, and expectations, the Association of Radiologic Technology Students (ARTS) Club portion of the program took place. Apple Basay, a Level III student and ARTS Club Vice President for A.Y. 2025–2026, was elected ARTS Club President for A.Y. 2026–2027.
