DEEPENING INDUSTRY CONNECTIONS: BA OJT Department Successfully Conducts Firm Visits for Student Interns

The BA OJT Coordinators—Dr. Mitzi Aileen M. Alba, Dr. Analyn A. Gonzales, and Dr. Lotis D. Cubin—successfully conducted firm visits to monitor and support the student interns deployed across various partner institutions and organizations.

The Turn Over and Induction Ceremony was successfully held on June 1, 2026, at the LED AVR, CBDEM. Highlighting this significant milestone, Mitzi Aileen M. Alba, PhD, DBA, the Business Administration Department Chairperson, officially administered the oath of office to our incoming student leaders.

In an inspirational message that set the tone for the upcoming academic year, the Dean of the College, Cheryl Y. Dulay, DBA, reminded the new student leaders of the true essence of their roles:
"Leadership is not defined by titles or authority, but by the positive impact you leave behind and the integrity with which you serve. As you step into this new chapter, lead with a clear purpose, remain steadfast in your commitment to the student body, and always strive for balanced leadership."

The entire ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the responsibilities that come with guiding an organization and the profound influence student leaders have in shaping the community's trajectory.

This meaningful occasion marked the official transition of leadership for the organization. We extend our deepest gratitude to our outgoing President, Reyco M. Austero, along with the entire roster of outgoing officers, whose dedication, resilience, and faithful service guided our community through a remarkable year.

As a new chapter unfolds, we proudly welcome and tender our full support to our newly inducted USM-JMES President, Gorge P. Caalaman, and the incoming executive team as they step up to embrace the vision ahead, champion innovation, and serve with renewed purpose.

Administered by CPACE Philippines following the rigorous online sessions held last April and May 2026, this certification serves as a prestigious validation of their strategic expertise and commitment to professional excellence.

Matagumpay na isinagawa ng JMES ang “PAG-AMBIT: Kaagapay sa Bawat Byahe”. Ang PAG-AMBIT ay isang taunang outreach activity ng JMES na naglalayong maghatid ng tulong sa iba't ibang sektor ng komunidad taon-taon. Para sa taong ito, isang fuel assistance at outreach activity ang inihandog para sa 30 tricycle drivers ng USM bilang simpleng pagkilala at pasasalamat sa kanilang mahalagang papel sa ating komunidad.

Sa mensahe ni 𝗗𝗿. 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗹 𝗬. 𝗗𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆, binigyang-diin na “𝗛𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀—𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗴𝗶 𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄-𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝘆."
Kasabay nito, ipinahayag din niya ang taos-pusong pasasalamat at pagkilala sa inyong mahalagang papel sa komunidad, at ang hangaring sa munting paraang ito ay maipadama na kayo ay nakikita at tunay na pinapahalagahan.

Naging mas makahulugan din ang programa sa pamamagitan ng taos-pusong mensahe nina 𝗧𝘂𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻, na nagpaalala sa amin kung gaano kahalaga ang simpleng pagtulong sa kapwa. Tulad nga ng ibinahagi ni 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻, “𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗽𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝘀𝗮 𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘆. 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗸𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗴𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻.”

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, muling pinagtibay na ang outreach na ito ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagbibigay ng assistance, kundi tungkol sa pagkilala sa sipag at halaga ng bawat drayber.
