The Notre Dame of Kabacan, Inc.โ€™s Hip-Hop Dance Troupe (NDKI-HDT) bagged the championship, heating up the floor with an electrifying performance in the Hip-Hop Dance Competition during the Cotabato Private Schools Association (COPRISA) Inter-Area Meet 2026.

Competing against six other participants, NDKI-HDT showcased undeniable confidence following their victory in the Area Meet, once again outshining their competitors and securing a spot in the Provincial Meet.

Maโ€™am Jeany Rose Sauyen and Maโ€™am Iesa BJ Basalo also expressed their happiness, especially as this will be their first time competing in the Provincial Meet.

โ€œFirst time manalo sa inter-area. Mas mag-ready talaga kami at mas mag-practice. For sure, mas maraming magagaling,โ€ Maโ€™am Basalo said.

They also emphasized that, aside from delivering all-out performances, they never underestimate the power of rest and recovery in preparing for the next level of competition.

โ€œDespite sa hardships, we're thankful sa admin kasi supportive. โ€™Yong support nila ang nag-boost sa amin na mas galingan pa,โ€ Maโ€™am Sauyen added.

Setting their sights on the next level, their coaches, Mr. John Lennon Bel, Maโ€™am Jeany Rose Sauyen, and Maโ€™am Iesa BJ Basalo, aim to keep the troupe at the forefront of the competition as they prepare to take on the Provincial Meet.

Dominating the two-day COPRISA Area Meet 2026, NDKI Paliwato once again asserted its dominance in the Literary and Musical Competition on August 14, 2026, clinching its fourth consecutive championship.

Clad in colorful traditional-inspired costumes and moving to the pulse of lively indigenous rhythms, the dancers commanded the floor with every stomp, twirl, and synchronized formation. Their performance was not merely a display of precision and artistry, but a spirited celebration of culture that had the crowd cheering as they danced their way toward another historic victory.

With their coaches, Sir Alvin Jay A. Fuentes and Ma'am Tracylyn B. Aganon, and their trainer, Sir Emmanuel J. Galendez, NDKI Paliwato danced Inilusan of Mumbusao, Capiz, featuring the act of people sharing their food with their neighbors as a language of kindness.

Behind the dazzling performance that unfolded on the COPRISA dance floor was a journey marked by rigorous training, relentless rehearsals, and countless moments of pushing themselves to their limits. Yet, beneath the pressure of defending their title, NDKI Paliwato chose to embrace the competition with passion and enjoyment, turning every step, beat, and synchronized movement into a celebration of the craft they had tirelessly honed. Their latest triumph proved that their victories were no fluke, but the product of dedication, teamwork, and the courage to give their best while simply enjoying the moment.
