Congratulations to Hector B. Balinuyus Jr. a 2nd year BSE-English major and a Board Member of the Committee on Sports. He is proudly recognized as the Top Performing Board Member for the month of July!

He shows consistent commitment, active participation, and dedication to his responsibilities both as a leader and a student. With NO ABSENCES and NO EXCUSES in the said month, he continues to exemplify discipline, reliability, and excellence in service.

Ang wika ay higit pa sa mga salitang ating binibigkas. Ito ang salamin ng ating pagkatao, sisidlan ng ating kasaysayan, at tulay na nag-uugnay sa bawat Pilipino.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, buong pagmamalaking ipinagdiriwang ng mga CEDISTA ang yaman, ganda, at kapangyarihan ng wikang Filipino—isang wikang patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa ating kultura at nagpapaalala sa atin kung sino tayo bilang isang bayan.

Sa bawat salitang ating binibigkas, muling nabubuhay ang mga kuwento ng ating mga ninuno. Sa bawat wikang ating pinahahalagahan, pinananatili nating buhay ang mga kulturang humubog sa ating pagkatao at pagkakakilanlan.

Ang wika ang nagsisilbing tali na nagdurugtong sa ating nakaraan, kasalukuyan, at kinabukasan. Isa itong pamana na hindi lamang dapat ipagdiwang, kundi higit sa lahat, ipagmalaki, pagyamanin, pangalagaan, at buong pagmamahal na ihabilin sa susunod na henerasyon.

Sapagkat habang buhay ang ating wika, buhay ang ating kultura. At habang buhay ang ating kultura, buhay ang ating pagkakakilanlan bilang Pilipino.

Mabuhay ang Wikang Filipino! Mabuhay ang Kulturang Pilipino! Mabuhay ang mga CEDISTA!

The family of Jovie Autillo, a student from the Criminology Society, was involved in a tragic road accident yesterday afternoon while traveling by pedicab in M’lang. Their vehicle was reportedly struck by a large truck.

Sadly, Jovi’s father and auntie lost their lives in the accident. Other members of the family also sustained injuries, while her mother is currently in the ICU and urgently needs to undergo an operation.

In this difficult time, the Criminology Society is humbly calling for everyone’s prayers and support. Any amount can make a meaningful difference.

Those who may not be able to provide financial assistance can also help by sharing this post and keeping Jovi and her family in their prayers. Every prayer, share, and act of kindness counts.

As part of the exciting Freshmen Week preparation, aspiring CEDISTA's took the spotlight as they showcased their confidence, intelligence, and charisma during the CED Mr. & Ms. Freshmen 2026 Screening.

One of the highlights was the CED Mr. & Ms. Freshmen 2026 Screening, where 19 dedicated freshmen from different programs of College of Education confidently took the opportunity. Each candidate exhibited not only their confidence and remarkable poise but also their deep passion and undeniably strong potential, believing that they define the future of the College of Education. Representing 1-𝗕𝗖𝗔𝗘𝗱, 𝗭𝘆𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘀 stood out as CED Mr. Freshman , while 𝗔𝘀𝗵𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 of 1-𝗕𝗘𝗖𝗘𝗱-𝗔 shone as CED Ms. Freshman.

The search for CED Mr. and Ms. Freshmen is officially done! Today, grace met grit, ambition found its voice, and a new generation of icons took their very first steps toward pageantry. Every pose was taken in motion, and every candidate brought a radiance that set the entire room sparkling!

To everyone who walked that runway with courage in their heart and fire in their eyes, you didn't just audition, you made the crowd scream and clap till their hands were tired. The runaway is set. The spark has been lit. Every step, every move, and every second brings us closer to the ultimate showdown. There can only be one conqueror at the top. So stay tuned and be updated!

Legislating for CEDizens: LSG's Resolution Session

The Legislative Body of the CED Local Student Government, together with the Board Members, convened for a productive session centered on the review and deliberation of a resolution set to benefit the CED student body. Through open discussion and collaborative decision-making, our officers continue to uphold their commitment to responsive and transparent student governance.
