The College of Education – Bachelor of Secondary Education (CED-BSE) proudly recorded an 86.79% passing rate among first-time takers in the 2026 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (L.E.P.T.), while the national passing rate stood at 73.10%, according to the official results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

Beyond the numbers lies a story of perseverance, discipline, and unwavering commitment to excellence. The achievement reflects not only the hard work and determination of the graduates, but also the college’s enduring mission of nurturing educators who are equipped to lead, inspire, and transform learning communities.

FSMS celebrates and proudly honors the LEPT passers whose passion for service and dedication to education will soon shape the minds and futures of generations to come. 🎊💐

𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗜𝗻-𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

Showcasing excellence in research and academic innovation, BSE student-researchers earned recognition during the In-House Review held on March 14, 2026. The event highlighted outstanding research presentations and studies from aspiring educators across different specializations.

For the Poster Presentation category, Nelson Erwin C. Durano of BSE Mathematics secured the 1st Place award, followed by Nystee Margotte Diaz of BSE Science in 2nd Place, and Marjen Baulite of BSE English in 3rd Place.

Meanwhile, in the Paper Presentation category, Nystee Margotte Diaz of BSE Science earned the 1st Place distinction, while Shaina A. Tandoy of BSE Social Studies claimed 3rd Place.

The In-House Review continues to serve as a platform for students to present meaningful studies, foster innovation, and contribute ideas that support academic growth and educational development.

Mothers give comfort in difficult moments, joy in ordinary days, and support even when they are tired themselves. Their care is seen not only in big sacrifices, but also in the small and quiet acts of love we often take for granted.

Today is for every mother, grandmother, guardian, and mother figure who continues to give endlessly without asking for anything in return.

A true reflection of an owl’s wisdom and quiet strength, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗣. 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗮 and 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗻𝗮𝗷𝗮 embody the very qualities that define future educators. As proud 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 of the 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆, they have shown that true leadership does not always need to be loud to be powerful. Their success as part of the 15.85% who passed the 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 reflects not only their intellect, but also their discipline and dedication to the path they have chosen.

As FSMS’ 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗣. 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗮 has always been someone you can rely on. She works quietly, makes sure everything is in place, and carries her responsibilities with consistency. This achievement reflects the same discipline and sense of responsibility she shows in her role. A proof that the way she works behind the scenes is exactly what brought her to this success.

In the same way, 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗦. 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗻𝗮𝗷𝗮, as the 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, has always had a way of communicating things clearly and with purpose.
