The Future Elementary Educators’ Society proudly congratulates its former officers who passed the September 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT).

𝗞𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟. 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝘀, 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗶𝗻 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮, 𝗥𝗲𝗷𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗦. 𝗟𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗼, 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗢. 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝘆𝘃𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗗. 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴—once student leaders of FEES—have now officially earned the title of Licensed Professional Teacher. Their achievement marks another meaningful chapter in their journey, from serving the organization to entering the teaching profession.

FEES celebrates this achievement and wishes them well as they move forward in their careers as educators.

For many aspiring teachers, the road to the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers is filled with long nights, quiet prayers, and moments of doubt. In the September 2025 LEPT, 123 graduates of the University of Southern Mindanao–College of Education Bachelor of Elementary Education saw those dreams finally turn into reality.

The program recorded an impressive 97.52% passing rate among first-time takers, showing how well the future educators were prepared for the challenge. Overall, USM–CED BEEd reached a 54.67% passing rate, higher than the 51.04% national passing rate, placing the college above the national average.

Behind every name on the list is a story of effort, patience, and hope—of students who chose to keep going even when the journey felt heavy. Their success is shared by the mentors who guided them, the families who supported them, and the community that believed in them.

These newly licensed teachers now move forward not just with a title, but with a purpose—to teach, to serve, and to help shape the next generation of learners.

BEED graduate Joel Mark E. Angco has been officially commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) under Officer Candidate Course (OCC) Class 63 “Bumannawag.” He received his rank on December 2 after completing the intensive training program of the Philippine Army Officer Candidate School.

Speaking in an interview, Angco shared the challenges of shifting from education to military service. “The road to becoming a Second Lieutenant wasn’t easy. But the lessons I learned as an aspiring teacher—patience, perseverance, and commitment—helped me push through the obstacles,” he said. He added that his journey is proof that “no dream is too big and no challenge too great when you refuse to give up.”

As a newly commissioned officer, Angco will begin his initial assignment under the AFP, where he is expected to take on leadership and field responsibilities. The Future Elementary Educators’ Society acknowledged his achievement and extended its congratulations.

𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐎 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄

𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐁. 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚, a 4th-year Bachelor of Elementary Education student and the 𝘊𝘌𝘋- 𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘰𝘳, proudly represented the College of Education at the Mindanao Youth Convergence held on November 19–20, 2025 at Mallberry Suites Business Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

With the theme “Promoting the Water, Energy, and Food Nexus Approach for Youth Empowerment and Sustainable Development,” the event gathered youth leaders across Mindanao to deepen their understanding of sustainability and the WEF Nexus.

Reynan participated in lectures on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus, engaged in breakout sessions on policy and governance, innovation, and youth empowerment, and joined a meaningful tree planting activity aimed at promoting environmental responsibility.

His participation reflected a strong commitment to youth leadership, sustainability, and the advancement of initiatives that support Mindanao’s sustainable future.

Just like how Ma. Ahtisa Manalo said that “𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒 𝑐𝑖𝑟𝑐𝑢𝑚𝑡𝑎𝑛𝑐𝑒𝑠 𝑑𝑜 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑔𝑜,” remember this as you face your final examination:

Your background, your struggles, your fears — none of these limit your future. What matters is your determination, your courage, and your willingness to keep going.
