𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲.

Held on August 25, 2025, residents from both dormitories eagerly took part in four exciting event categories: Sports, Tagisan ng Talino, Palarong Pinoy, and Dormitory Next Top Model Cycle 1.0.

Themed “𝘒𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘴𝘢, 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘵𝘪𝘣𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢. 𝘉𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨 𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘣𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯”, the event was organized in observance of National Heroes Day and as a tribute to our nation’s heroes. Accordingly, four symbolic houses were created: House of Rizal, House of Bonifacio, House of Del Pilar, and House of Mabini.

It started with a simple proposal to collaborate with the women’s dormitory which eventually blossomed into a productive and inclusive event—despite some challenges. When the activities began, the mood shifted entirely. Members from both dorms united, engaging whole-heartedly and building camaraderie through shared laughter, meaningful conversations, and memorable experiences.

The dormitory managers extend heartfelt gratitude to the unwavering support of 𝐔𝐒𝐌 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 - 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐝 𝐋. 𝐏𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 - 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐒. 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, and 𝐁𝐃𝐂 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 - 𝐃𝐫. 𝐄𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐆. 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧.

May this pioneering effort—bringing together Men’s Dormitory and Women’s Hall in celebration, fun, and unity—continue to enhance the bond and positive connection among dormitory residents.
