Marsha P. Johnson was an absolute force in the LGBTQ+ rights movement! As a transgender activist, she fearlessly fought for equality and played a vital role in the historic Stonewall uprising of '69. Marsha, along with her friend Sylvia Rivera, founded STAR to provide support to homeless transgender youth—an incredible act of compassion and resilience. She dedicated her life to advocating for marginalized LGBTQ+ individuals, and her legacy continues to inspire us all. During Pride Month, we honor Marsha P. This is a comment on one of Kuya Show's TikTok post.

Well, here's the thing. When we hear the word "bakla" in the Philippines, we often think of people like Vice Ganda, MC, and Chad Kinis because that's what the mainstream media mostly shows us. I have no hate towards the LGBTQ+ community here in the Philippines because they are talented and deserve the spotlight, but we still lack representation.
