ATTENTION ALL INCOMING FRESHMEN
Please read below Frequently Asked Questions relative to your enrollment this First Semester, School Year 2026-2027
1. Where is the venue of enrollment for incoming freshmen? Answer: All enrollment regardless of campus shall be done in the CNSC Gymnasium, CNSC Main Campus, Daet.
2. When is the enrollment for incoming freshmen? Answer: Please check the schedules posted by the CNSC Registrar's Office in their Official page at https://www.facebook.com/CNSCRegistrarOfficial. Only those scheduled for the day will be accommodated.
3. What to bring during the enrollment proper? Answer: Admission Slip duly signed by the Admission's Office personnel of your respective campus
4. What is the enrollment process for incoming freshmen? Answer: Proceed to the CNSC Gymnasium and attend NSTP Pre-Orientation seminar. After the said orientation, the incoming freshman shall choose its NSTP component prior to enrollment proper. The NSTP coordinator shall distribute NSTP Stubs to each incoming freshman and this will be filled-out after attendance to the said orientation. The completely filled-out NSTP Stub shall be presented to the enrollment personnel for enrollment proper. Concerned enrollment personnel shall register and enroll the incoming freshman to the system and will be given his/her Student Registration Form afterwards. ID-picture and signature-taking will immediately follow. Once done, this formally ends the enrollment process.
5. What to wear during enrollment and ID-picture taking? Answer: All incoming freshmen shall wear any plain white shirt with collar or CNSC uniform (if already available). This will be strictly enforced. Please ensure proper haircut for male and no visible earrings, necklace, and other accessories (ID lace, etc.) present during the picture-taking process. For female, light facial make-up may be done prior. Eye glasses shall likewise be asked to be removed during the picture-taking.
6. What happens after picture-taking and enrollment? Answer: After enrollment, the concerned freshman shall have his/her Student Registration Form / Certificate of Registration. This will serve as your proof of official enrollment in CNSC. This will also serve as your guide in attending your classes during the semester.
7. How to apply for a student ID card? Answer: Application for student ID card shall be done using your CAPS account. Just login to the system and click SERVICES in the dropdown menu, and click ID APPLICATION. Only those who apply using their CAPS account shall be processed and printed. Official student ID cards shall be distributed within the First Semester, SY 2026-2027. List of printed ID cards will be posted in the Official page of the CNSC Information Technology Services Office at https://www.facebook.com/cnsc.itso so ensure to follow the page for future updates.
8. I will be submitting requirements for a possible scholarship grant, however, the LGU, agency, or office providing scholarship requires Certificate of Enrollment, Certificate of Registration, and photocopy of validated ID card. Where do I get these documents? Answer: Certificate of Registration is also your Student Registration Form which you will acquire once you are officially enrolled. Certificate of Enrollment, however, is an official document being provided by the Registrar's Office. You may get this document by applying for it and payment of Certificate of Enrollment Fee at the Cashier's Office. As for the ID, the Certificate of Registration shall suffice. The IT Services Office will not issue any certification in relation to the printing of student ID cards. ID cards shall be distributed per batch and shall be posted in the Official page of CNSC IT Services Office.
9. I don't have yet the signed Admission Slip, where do I have it signed? Answer: Complete admission requirements first by submitting all the needed documents to your respective Admission's Office.
10. Are transfer students (transferees), included in this enrollment schedule? Answer: NO. Transfer students are not included and shall have a separate schedule for enrollment. 11. Can my parent or guardian attend on my behalf and with authorization? Answer: NO. Personal appearance is strictly required since ID-picture and signature-taking will follow right after enrollment.
12. What is CAPS and where do I get my login credentials? Answer: CAPS stands for Centralized Accounts Portal for Students. It is the primary system used for all student-related transactions. This also serves as repository of academic records. You will find your grades, enrollment data, financial transactions, and other records relative to your enrollment at Camarines Norte State College in this system. The default login credentials and link to the system shall be given to you during enrollment.
13. Where do I get my student number? Answer: Your student number will be given during enrollment. The format for your student number is 26-###X, where ###X is a four-digit number. This is also reflected in your Student Registration Form. Please always remember your student number as this will be used and asked from time to time during your stay in the Camarines Norte State College.
14. NSTP Pre-orientation seminar will start at exactly 8:00 AM for the morning session and another session will be conducted in the afternoon at 1:30 PM so please ensure to be on time.
