BLACK SATURDAY

“By His wounds, we are healed. We are saved.”

Black Saturday reminds us that even in the silence, God is still working.

There are days when life feels quiet, heavy, and uncertain. Days when prayers seem unanswered and hope feels far away. But this day reminds us that silence is not the end of the story.

Jesus suffered for us, carried our pain, and gave His life so we could have healing, mercy, and salvation. What looked like darkness was not defeat. God was still moving, even when no one could see it yet.

So if your heart feels tired today, hold on. God is still working in the quiet. Hope is still alive. The story is not over.

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

In your trust, hope entered our waiting world and salvation came close to us. As we walk through Advent, teach us to wait with faith, to listen in silence, and to say our own ‘yes’ to God even when the path is unclear.
