Ignacia A. Guillermo Central Elementary School (IGCES) officially launched its ASEAN Month Celebration through a meaningful activity held after the schoolโs regular flag ceremony.
The launching was initiated by Araling Panlipunan (AP) Coordinator Josethlee J. Castillo, who led the activity and encouraged learners and teachers to actively participate in the celebration. The program featured the singing of the ASEAN Anthem, highlighting the spirit of unity, cooperation, and friendship among ASEAN member states.
To make the launching more engaging and informative, Maโam Castillo also conducted an ASEAN trivia activity, where learners were asked questions about ASEAN, its member countries, culture, history, and significance. The activity provided an enjoyable way for the school community to broaden their knowledge about Southeast Asian nations.
The celebration aims to promote greater awareness and appreciation of ASEANโs shared values, cultural diversity, and spirit of regional cooperation among learners.
Through this initiative, IGCES continues to provide meaningful learning experiences that go beyond the classroom and encourage learners to become more informed and globally aware citizens.
