Knowledge is one of the most powerful tools in building a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable community.
Today, IJPians participated in a meaningful Symposium on Waste Segregation, Disaster Risk Preparedness, and Climate Change Awareness with the theme, “GREEN AND READY: BUILDING RESILIENT COMMUNITIES”.
The activity aimed to educate and empower learners on the importance of proper waste management, disaster readiness, and environmental stewardship.
This symposium serves as a reminder that every small action can make a big difference. By practicing responsible waste management, staying prepared for emergencies, and taking part in environmental conservation efforts, we can contribute to a safer and greener future for all.
Together, let us be responsible citizens and environmental advocates committed to creating resilient and sustainable communities. 🌱💚

A New Dawn: School Prepares for the New Academic Year
Parents and guardians attended the school’s annual orientation at the gymnasium to learn about the plans and programs for the new school year.
School administrators led by Dr. Janet Cienca Colobong introduced the school's updated curriculum, which aims to help students develop important skills for the future.
One of the biggest changes is the 3-Term System, which will divide the school year into three terms to make learning more organized and manageable.
The school also explained its new grading system. Aside from written exams, students will also be graded based on projects, class participation, and other learning activities. Parents were also reminded about the importance of following school rules, wearing proper uniforms, and maintaining good behavior.
Scholarships and Financial Assistance
Since the school is PEAC-accredited, qualified Grade 7 and Grade 11 students may receive tuition assistance through the government's voucher and ESC programs.
The school also announced a special scholarship sponsored by the former SSEC President, Carl Cacapit. Five (5) lucky incoming Grade 7 and Grade 11 students will be selected to receive this scholarship.
The orientation ended with parents feeling informed and ready to support their children in the coming school year.
