Dibuluan National High School proudly joined the SDO Isabela-wide Simultaneous Project TreeTY (Tree, Thank You) Tree Planting Activity on July 30, 2026, an initiative in observance of the National Disaster Resilience Month that promotes environmental stewardship, climate resilience, and sustainable learning communities.

The activity was spearheaded by Dr. Angelic P. De Vera, Principal IV, and successfully facilitated by the school's DRRM Coordinator, Sir Patrick Kent Kevin F. Pones. Demonstrating unity and commitment to environmental protection, all teaching and non-teaching personnel actively participated in planting trees and supporting this meaningful endeavor.

Together, we plant today for a greener, safer, and more resilient tomorrow.

Dibuluan National High School successfully hosted the Regional Monitoring and Technical Assistance on the School Governance Council (SGC) Functionality, led by the Regional Monitoring Team composed of Ma'am Marivic Somejo, Education Program Supervisor; Sir Carlos Bergonia, Education Program Supervisor; and Sir Emmanuel Roman Monterubio of the Schools Division Office of Isabela.

The activity was participated in by the school's SGC members headed by Dr. Angelic P. De Vera, Principal IV; newly elected SGC Co-Chairperson Sir Jessel M. Gapusan; Sir Boyet Dela Cruz, SPTA President; newly elected SGC Secretary Sir Ireneo Adriano; outgoing SGC Chairperson Ma'am Judy D. Juan; and Ma'am Heidi T. Lamug, Head Teacher III. Representatives from San Agustin District, including Dorganda High School led by Sir Clifford E. Gerardo, School Head, and Southeastern Region High School, also joined the activity.

During the technical assistance, Ma'am Somejo and Sir Bergonia highlighted the key indicators of a functional School Governance Council, emphasizing active stakeholder participation, consultative decision-making, regular council meetings, alignment of school programs and initiatives, effective coordination among school committees, transparency, and a responsive feedback mechanism that supports continuous school improvement. The activity further strengthened the commitment of participating schools to uphold shared governance and meaningful stakeholder engagement in delivering quality education.

Dibuluan National High School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the LGU Jones headed by Hon. Nhel C. Montano, CPA, and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) โ€“ Jones Station, under the supervision of SFO3 William P. Peralta, Officer In-Charge, for their immediate response to the school's water system failure and water shortage.

Through the initiative of School Principal Dr. Angelic P. De Vera, with the assistance of SPTA President Boyet Dela Cruz and Sir Mark Joseph Manibog, a request for emergency water supply was coordinated and promptly addressed.

Special thanks to FO3 Emerson G. Baturi, FO3 Mark Anthony Tolentino, and FO1 Mark Anthony F. Viloria for delivering the much-needed water supply to our school community.

Your commitment to public service and support for education truly reflects the spirit of bayanihan and partnership in ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment for all.
