March 29, 2026 – 𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡! 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡𝐮 𝐀𝐤𝐛𝐚𝐫!

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education – Directorate General for Madaris Education (MBHTE-DGME) successfully conducted the Contract of Service (COS) Signing and Renewal earlier this morning, March 29, 2026. This memorable event ensures the continued employment of over 700 ISAL Teachers in the province of Sulu during this significant time.

This undertaking was an initiative led by the Madaris Education Division Head, 𝐔𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐳 𝐘𝐚𝐡𝐲𝐚 𝐍. 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠, MAIS, MAED, with the steadfast support of 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐤𝐡 𝐒𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐃𝐇 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐒𝐀𝐋 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬. 𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡!

MBHTE-DGME SULU EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO PUBLIC ATTORNEY'S OFFICE FOR ISAL TEACHERS' PDS NOTARIZATION

The Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education – Directorate General for Madaris Education (MBHTE-DGME) Sulu extends its sincere appreciation to the Public Attorney's Office (PAO) for providing a special lane and dedicated time to notarize the Personal Data Sheets (PDS) of the Islamic Studies and Arabic Language (ISAL) Teachers of the Sulu Division.

This initiative was spearheaded by Sulu MDH Ustadz Yahya N. Titong in preparation for the upcoming renewal of ISAL Teachers' appointments, In sha Allah.

The notarization activity was successfully conducted at Sulu National High School, with invaluable support from:

Through this support, we aim to alleviate the financial burdens of our teachers and ensure the continuity of their essential services for the welfare and development of Bangsamoro children in Sulu. MBHTE-DGME Sulu Conducts 2nd General Assembly of 2025 (December 23, 2025)

The 2nd General Assembly of 2025, organized by MBHTE-DGME Sulu, brought together ISAL teachers from the province—a significant gathering that held deep meaning for all Asatidz during that emotional period.

The assembly aimed to provide program updates and guidance to participants. During the event, many ISAL teachers expressed their desire to share their feelings, emotions, and experiences as preachers, both within and outside the ISAL Program. Alhamdulillah, gratitude is extended for these milestones, as the teachers remain actively engaged in da’wah as ISAL educators.

MDH Ustadz Yahya N. Titong emphasized the importance of the ISAL Program in the Sulu Division and its invaluable impact on learners across the province. He also acknowledged the support of MDH Sheikh Saddam Abun, AMDH, the District/School Focal Persons, and MDH staff.

Led by the MDH, the ISAL teachers of Sulu expressed sincere gratitude to MBHTE BARMM for their unwavering support of the program. They were also pleased to receive and extend heartfelt thanks for the 2026 budget allocated to Sulu by BARMM—support that will undoubtedly advance education and development in the region.

MBHTE-DGME Sulu further expressed gratitude to SNHS for granting permission to use its covered court as the venue, as well as to all who consistently support the ISAL Program. May Allah bless, protect, and grant abundant blessings to all.

📋 𝗠𝗕𝗛𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗚𝗠𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗙𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗠𝗔𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗦 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗠

The “𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 (MDH) Instructional Supervision: Monitoring and Evaluation Visits to Public Schools with ISAL Asaatidz/Teachers for FY 2025” – Post Activity and Reporting Program was successfully concluded following its two-day run from December 8 to 9, 2025, at Venue 88, General Santos City.

Organized by the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education (MBHTE), Directorate General for Madaris Education (DGME), the program focused on 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝘀𝗮𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗱𝘇/𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀, alongside evaluating implementation and reporting on fiscal year 2025 initiatives.

The delegation presented the division’s performance in overseeing instructional delivery, monitoring compliance with madaris education standards, and supporting ISAL Asaatidz/Teachers in integrating best practices into their teaching. They also collaborated with peers from other regions to share insights on strengthening supervision frameworks and enhancing learning outcomes across public schools with madaris components.

The program reaffirmed MBHTE DGME’s commitment to elevating the quality of madaris education through structured oversight and collaborative engagement with field educators. A formal recognition is extended to the Sulu Division team for their dedication to advancing educational excellence in the region.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐁𝐇𝐓𝐄-𝐃𝐆𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐮𝐥𝐮, under the leadership of Madaris Division Head Ustadz 𝐘𝐚𝐡𝐲𝐚 𝐍. The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education – Directorate General for Madaris Education (MBHTE-DGME) Sulu, headed by Madaris Division Head Ustadz Yahya N. Titong, MAIS, MaED, fully supports the Honorable Chief Minister’s commitment to continuing programs, projects, and initiatives in Sulu Province. We remain steadfast in our dedication to the Bangsamoro people. We express our sincere gratitude (MAGSUKUR) to Hon. Chief Minister Abdulraof A. Macacua.

"A Muslim is a brother to another Muslim; he neither wrongs him nor hands him over to one who wrongs him. If anyone fulfills his brother's needs, Allah will fulfill his needs; if one relieves a Muslim of his troubles, Allah will relieve his troubles on the Day of Resurrection; and if anyone covers up a Muslim's sins, Allah will cover him up on the Day of Resurrection." [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Also, Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The relationship of believers with one another is like a building; each part strengthens the other." He illustrated this by interlacing the fingers of both his hands. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

𝗔 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁/𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗜𝗦𝗔𝗟 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗕𝗛𝗧𝗘-𝗗𝗚𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝘂𝗹𝘂. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝗨𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗱𝘇 𝗬𝗮𝗵𝘆𝗮 𝗡. 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗦, 𝗠𝗮𝗘𝗗. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:

• Monitoring Updates. Reports were presented, and checklists submitted, providing valuable insights into monitoring activities.
• Upcoming Regional Monitoring. The planned visit from the regional monitoring team was discussed, focusing on scheduling, scope, and preparations.
• Action Planning. Key actions were identified to address challenges and ensure the continued success of our monitoring and evaluation efforts.

The Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education – Directorate General for Madaris Education (MBHTE-DGME) Sulu, under the leadership of Madaris Division Head Ustadz Yahya N. Titong, MAIS, MaED, convened a meeting today at the Don Mustafa Training Center, Upper San Raymundo, Jolo, Sulu. The purpose of the meeting was to provide an update on the ISAL program and to highlight its significance to the Muslim community of Sulu. Furthermore, the meeting served to confirm the ongoing monitoring of ISAL teachers in all districts and schools by their designated focal persons and monitoring teams.

The MBHTE-DGME Sulu expresses its gratitude to guest speakers, Hon. Prof. Sahi Udjah, former Member of Parliament, and Hon. MP Engr. Don Mustapha Arbison Loong, for graciously providing the use of their conference room.
