We, the G.R.E.A.T Peer Facilitators, would like to extend our warmest gratitude to everyone who made our Mental Health Booth a success! It was an incredible experience serving our fellow students and providing a safe space for them to express themselves, reflect, and heal their inner child.
We would also like to express our deepest appreciation to our Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Elmilyn Askali, for initiating this wonderful event and allowing us to be a part of it. Your guidance and support meant the world to us!
A special thank you to our Moderator, Miss Welwina Samsula, for her unwavering support and guidance throughout the planning and ex*****on of the event. Your dedication and expertise played a significant role in making this event a success, and we are truly grateful for your presence in our G.R.E.A.T family.
Through activities like "Color Your Inner Self" and "Reflective Freedom Wall", we hope to have helped our fellow students take a step towards healing and self-love. This event was a testament to the power of teamwork and dedication. We are proud to be part of a community that values mental health and well-being.
Thank you again to everyone who supported us, participated, and made this event possible! Let's continue to work together to create a supportive and nurturing environment for all students. Let's keep spreading love, kindness, and positivity!

It's the thrill of trying something new, the rush of adrenaline, and the warmth of shared experiences that make life truly unforgettable.
Ddakji may be a game, but it's the connections, laughter, and memories that truly win. It's a reminder that life is full of surprises and joys, and that sometimes, all it takes is a little courage to unlock a world of fun and adventure.
May we continue to find joy in the little things and support each other in our own games of life. Let's keep embracing our inner child, taking risks, and celebrating each other's wins, one Ddakji game at a time!

๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ง๐ง๐๐ซ ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐: Arcade of Wonder
The booth has been in full swing these past days!
Weโve seen familiar faces returning with even more energyโsome even saying they wouldnโt leave until they had their fill of fun.
Students let go of their worries, embraced their playful side, and rediscovered the joy of childhood. Shouts, laughter, and games filled the air as everyone reconnected with their inner child.
The Guidance and Counseling Office, together with GPCF, is beyond grateful to witness this heartwarming scene. Seeing students laugh, play, and be their authentic selves reminds us why this week matters so much.
๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ญ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ, Ka-Peerkadas, due to unforeseen weather conditions, we concluded our event yesterday, December 2, 2025. This marks the end of Mental Health Week Phase 2: Healing Your Inner Child.

Our booth will be backโbecause healing, joy, and connection never truly end.

The Guidance and Counseling Office of Mindanao State University-Sulu recently conducted a Mental Health Seminar for MSU-Sulu employees, with the theme "Strengthening Well-Being and Productivity: An SDG-Driven Mental Health Workforce". The event, held on November 26, 2025, aimed to promote mental health awareness, support staff well-being, and foster a healthier academic environment.
The seminar featured two insightful lectures: "Work-Life Balance: Impact Oneโs Mental Health" by Mrs. Elmelyn H. Askali, and "Resilient, Engaged Workforce" by Dr. Casma S. Mercado. The speakers emphasized the importance of work-life balance, resilience, and stress management, highlighting the need for ongoing mental health initiatives.
The event also included engaging activities, such as a stress-relieving exercise and an open forum, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and share their experiences.
Importantly, the Guidance Counselor announced the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Mental Health Seminar series, marking a significant step in the universityโs continuing efforts to strengthen employee well-being.
