Following the recent earthquake felt in parts of Mindanao and nearby areas, Notre Dame of Jolo College reminds everyone to stay calm, stay alert, and be prepared in the event of an earthquake.
🏫 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴:
• 𝗗𝗥𝗢𝗣 to the ground to avoid being knocked over.
• 𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 your head and neck under a sturdy desk or table.
• 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗 𝗢𝗡 until the shaking completely stops. • Stay away from windows, glass panels, shelves, and objects that may fall.
🚪 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗽𝘀:
• Stay calm and assess your surroundings for possible hazards.
• Follow the instructions of your teachers, personnel, or emergency responders.
• Evacuate in an orderly manner through the nearest safe exit.
• Proceed immediately to the designated evacuation area assigned to your location:
