✍🏻 MARTIREZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Celebrates Its First Family and Leadership Day at
Imbitheya, November 30, 2025
Martirez Elementary School-Jolo II District marked a meaningful milestone as it held its very first Family and Leadership Day, bringing together students, parents, teachers, interns, and community partners for a day of unity, growth, and shared responsibility. Held at Imbitheya, the event created an uplifting atmosphere filled with laughter and learning.
The celebration began with a warm welcome from school head Hja. Reezalee A. Mocaram-Julmadi who emphasized the vital role of strong family support and effective leadership in shaping the future of young learners. She noted that this event was not only an opportunity to strengthen school–community partnerships but also a meaningful moment to nurture leadership skills among students.
A key highlight of the event was the Induction of Officers from the GPTA, HPTA, SELG, and various school organizations and clubs. This ceremony formally welcomed the newly elected leaders who will serve as partners in advancing the school’s goals and programs.
Following the induction, the crowd enjoyed a series of fun and engaging games. Laughter filled the venue as families, teachers, interns, and learners participated enthusiastically, strengthening camaraderie and school spirit.
As the first celebration of its kind, the Family and Leadership Day was a resounding success. The smiles, shared stories, and teamwork witnessed throughout the program reflected a promising beginning—one that the school community hopes to nurture and expand in the years ahead. It sets a strong foundation for future activities that aim to deepen family engagement and cultivate the next generation of responsible and compassionate leaders.

The teachers and parents, who generously shared their food for everyone. The “Bring and Share” concept truly proved to be a brilliant and heartwarming idea.😀
