Martirez Elementary School GSP, together with its School Band Corps and Scout Masters, Mrs. Maribel S. Ahidji and Ms. Mudzrina S. Salahuddin, joined the parade on November 30, 2025, for the opening of the GSP Provincial Encampment held around the town of Jolo.

Imbitheya, November 30, 2025

Martirez Elementary School-Jolo II District marked a meaningful milestone as it held its very first Family and Leadership Day, bringing together students, parents, teachers, interns, and community partners for a day of unity, growth, and shared responsibility. Held at Imbitheya, the event created an uplifting atmosphere filled with laughter and learning.

The celebration began with a warm welcome from school head Hja. Reezalee A. Mocaram-Julmadi who emphasized the vital role of strong family support and effective leadership in shaping the future of young learners. She noted that this event was not only an opportunity to strengthen school–community partnerships but also a meaningful moment to nurture leadership skills among students.

A key highlight of the event was the Induction of Officers from the GPTA, HPTA, SELG, and various school organizations and clubs. This ceremony formally welcomed the newly elected leaders who will serve as partners in advancing the school’s goals and programs.

Following the induction, the crowd enjoyed a series of fun and engaging games. Laughter filled the venue as families, teachers, interns, and learners participated enthusiastically, strengthening camaraderie and school spirit.

As the first celebration of its kind, the Family and Leadership Day was a resounding success. The smiles, shared stories, and teamwork witnessed throughout the program reflected a promising beginning—one that the school community hopes to nurture and expand in the years ahead. It sets a strong foundation for future activities that aim to deepen family engagement and cultivate the next generation of responsible and compassionate leaders.

The teachers and parents, who generously shared their food for everyone. The “Bring and Share” concept truly proved to be a brilliant and heartwarming idea.😀

Once again, thank you to everyone who became part of this meaningful celebration. Your support, cooperation, and generosity made the first Family and Leadership Day of Martirez Elementary School truly remarkable.

✍🏻Once again, Martirez Elementary School-Jolo II District participated in the Jolo II District Mini Meet Parade 2025 with the theme, “Building Bridges Through Sports Into a New Horizon.”

Despite the stormy and rainy weather, the event was successfully held. The parade started from the Municipal Police Station, proceeded along the road to Mt. Carmel Church, passed through Textile Road and the Islamic Library, continued along Scott Road by the DepEd office, and finally returned to the Jolo Municipal Tennis Court, where the opening program took place.

🖍️Martirez Elementary School celebrated United Nations 2025 earlier today, October 22, at the Kasalamatan Covered Court with the theme::“Cooperatives Build a Better World.”

🖍️The purpose of celebrating United Nations Day in school is to help students understand the importance of peace, unity, and cooperation among countries. It teaches them about global issues like human rights, the environment, and equality, and encourages them to become responsible and active global citizens.:

🖍️We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Punong Barangay of Barangay San Raymundo Hon Hji. Nurhakeem A. Uddin for taking part in our "Parade of the Nations" activity by providing us assistance to ensure the safety of our pupils and allowing us to use the Covered court in kasalamatan as our venue for our Culminating activity on United Nations 2025..
