📢 SCHOOL ADVISORY: HAZE PRECAUTIONS

We would like to remind everyone to take precautionary measures due to reports of haze potentially affecting parts of Mindanao from forest fires in Kalimantan, Indonesia, carried by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

For the safety of our learners, please observe the following:

😷 GOING TO AND FROM SCHOOL
• Have your child wear a well-fitting mask, preferably N95/KN95, especially outdoors.
• Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure and strenuous activities.
• Keep younger children closely supervised while traveling.
• If your child feels unwell or experiences difficulty breathing, chest discomfort, or severe irritation, please keep them at home and seek medical attention when necessary.

🏫 AT SCHOOL
• Outdoor activities may be modified, moved indoors, or postponed depending on the haze conditions.
• Teachers will monitor students for any signs of discomfort.
• Students will be encouraged to stay hydrated and limit unnecessary outdoor exposure.

For parents who prefer to keep their children at home for the meantime due to an existing medical condition or health concerns, please inform your child’s teacher so we can properly note and coordinate with you.

🇵🇭 Wikang Filipino, Tinig ng Pagka-Pilipino! 🇵🇭

Isang makulay at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika ang isinagawa ng ating mga mag-aaral sa elementarya! 🎉🇵🇭

Sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga awitin, sayaw, tula, pagtatanghal, at kasuotang Pilipino, ipinakita nila ang kanilang talento at pagpapahalaga sa ating wika at kulturang Pilipino.

Sa panahon ngayon, malaki ang impluwensya ng mga gadyet, teknolohiya, social media, mga palabas, at mga larong online sa ating mga anak. Dahil dito, mas madalas nilang naririnig at ginagamit ang wikang Ingles.

Walang masama sa pagkatuto at paggamit ng wikang Ingles. Mahalaga rin ito sa kanilang pag-aaral at sa kanilang magiging kinabukasan. Ngunit bilang mga Pilipino, huwag nating kalimutan ang sariling wika.

Tayo ay mga Pilipino, at ang wikang Filipino ay bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan. Gamitin natin ito sa pakikipag-usap sa ating mga kapwa Pilipino, pahalagahan ito, at higit sa lahat, ituro natin ito sa susunod na henerasyon.

Maging mahusay sa ibang wika, ngunit huwag ikahiya ang sariling wika.
Matuto sa makabagong panahon, ngunit huwag kalimutan ang ating pinagmulan.
Maging makabago, ngunit manatiling proud na Pilipino. 🇵🇭❤️

Maraming salamat sa ating mga magulang sa walang sawang suporta at pakikiisa, at sa ating mga g**o sa kanilang dedikasyon at pagsisikap na gawing makabuluhan ang pagkatuto ng ating mga anak.

At higit sa lahat, nagpapasalamat tayo sa Diyos sa mga talento at kakayahang ipinagkaloob Niya sa ating mga mag-aaral.

🇵🇭 Munting Pilipino, Mahalin ang Sariling Wika! 🇵🇭

Isang masaya, makulay, at makabuluhang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika kasama ang ating mga munting mag-aaral! 🌸✨

Sa kanilang murang edad, maaaring hindi pa nila lubos na nauunawaan kung bakit mahalagang ipagdiwang ang ating wika at kultura. Ngunit sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga kasuotang Pilipino, awitin, sayaw, at mga munting pagtatanghal, unti-unti nating naipapakita sa kanila ang kagandahan ng pagiging isang Pilipino. 🇵🇭❤️

Ang bawat ngiti, bawat galaw, at bawat salitang kanilang natututunan ay isang munting hakbang tungo sa pagmamahal at pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika at kultura.

Maraming salamat sa ating mga minamahal na magulang sa inyong panahon, pagsisikap, at buong pusong suporta sa paghahanda ng ating mga anak. At sa ating mga g**o, maraming salamat sa inyong tiyaga at pagmamahal sa paghubog sa ating mga munting mag-aaral. ❤️

Nawa’y habang sila ay lumalaki, dala nila ang pagmamahal sa kanilang sariling wika at ang pagmamalaki sa kanilang pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

🚨 A SERIOUS REMINDER TO ALL PARENTS

Recent reports of violence involving young students and schools are deeply alarming. 💔 What is even more concerning is that incidents like these are not isolated. They remind us that we cannot be too careful when it comes to what our children are exposed to—especially online.

As parents, while our children are still young, let us be mindful of what they watch, what games they play, what content they consume, and who they interact with online. 📱🎮

Games and technology are not necessarily the problem. But excessive gaming, inappropriate content, violent material, unhealthy online interactions, and lack of supervision can influence a child’s thoughts, emotions, behavior, and understanding of what is real and what is only entertainment.

More importantly, let us pay attention to our children. Talk to them. Listen to them. Notice changes in their behavior. Know what interests them, what troubles them, and what they are learning from the things they watch and play.

Our children need more than gadgets and internet access. They need boundaries. They need guidance. They need conversations. They need love. And they need parents who are present. ❤️

Let us check what is on their screens—but let us also check what is in their hearts. Teach them the difference between right and wrong, reality and fantasy, and healthy and harmful content.

And above all, let us never forget to pray for our children. 🙏

Pray for their hearts.
Pray for their minds.
Pray for their friendships.
Pray for the things they are exposed to.
Pray for wisdom as parents and teachers to guide them.
And pray that God will protect them from influences that may lead them away from what is good and right.

We may not be able to control everything our children encounter, but we can guide them, watch over them, teach them, and bring them before God in prayer.

🏫 Parents and teachers, we are partners in raising our children. Let us work together to keep them safe—not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

🙏 Let us not wait for something terrible to happen before we start paying attention. Our children are worth our time, our guidance, our vigilance, and our prayers.

🍎🍌🍇 Kindergarten Patience had an exciting and colorful Nutrition Month activity as they created their own fruit paper masks! Through this fun and creative craft, our young learners became more familiar with different fruits while expressing their imagination and creativity.

Every mask they made is a reminder that healthy eating can be fun and that fruits are an important part of growing strong and healthy. We are so proud of our little artists for their enthusiasm and wonderful work!
