IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE PROGRAM BASURA KO, IBULSA KO
In line with the school's desire to be a garbage-free campus, Sinonoc National High School will implement the "BASURA KO, IBULSA KO" program. This program is to be launched on Monday, May 29, 2023, during the flag-raising ceremony. It will be implemented to everyone in the school, from utility personnel, security guards, students, teachers, and administrators.
For smooth implementation of the program, the following IMPLEMENTING RULES AND REGULATIONS (IRR) should be observed:
1. No garbage should be seen anywhere in the campus. Every student, teacher, office personnel, and school administrator is responsible for his/her own garbage like plastic wrappers, paper, empty plastic bottles, and the like.
2. Anybody who will be caught throwing garbage anywhere will do community service within the school campus. Such community service to be done are cleaning the campus, cleaning the comfort rooms, scrubbing the floor lobby, and mamunglay.
3. Every class is accountable for any garbage found in its assigned area. If the assigned area is not kept clean, the whole class will do a 20-minute community service.
4. Owners of the school canteens should provide trash bins in their respective areas and the accumulated garbage should be brought home for disposal. The canteen surroundings should be kept free of garbage all the time. Failure to do these shall be given the following sanctions:
First offense
- reprimand
Second offense - community service
Third offense
- 1-day suspension from selling
5. Throwing garbage near the Senior High School building is no longer allowed. Anybody caught throwing shall do community service. Leaves of trees shall be thrown in the designated areas in the campus.
6. Class advisers should formulate a class rule on making the classroom free of garbage. The rule should be implemented and followed diligently to help keep our school clean and free from any health problems.
7. At the end of the month, there will be recognition of the CLEANEST CLASSROOM and CLEANEST ASSIGNED AREA.
