𝗨𝗦𝗚 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝘄𝗼-𝗥𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀

After two rounds of nomination and deliberation, the University Student Government (USG) successfully elected its new set of legislative officers to serve for the academic year 2025–2026.

The first round of nominations lasted 35 minutes. Julius Gabriel Escalante from BSTCM nominated Mark Anthony Cabasis from BSESM, while Cabasis nominated Mellory Joy Magtanao from BSNAME. However, both nominees declined their respective nominations, resulting in the need for a second round.

In the second round, which took 20 minutes, Mellory Joy Magtanao nominated Bart Louie Moreno from BSMET, and Moreno returned the nomination by endorsing Magtanao once again.

The voting proceeded, with Magtanao securing the majority vote (4-1) to become the new USG Legislative Chairman. The newly elected officers are as follows:
