A new school year begins with renewed hope, excitement, and commitment to learning!

The schools of Jasaan South District warmly welcomed learners as they embarked on another meaningful educational journey on the first day of School Year 2026–2027. Classrooms were filled with smiles, enthusiasm, and the shared aspiration of achieving academic excellence and holistic development.

Under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Carnila D. Simacon, Public Schools District Supervisor, Jasaan South District continues to uphold its commitment to providing quality, inclusive, and learner-centered education for every child.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated school heads, teachers, parents, local government units, stakeholders, and community partners whose unwavering support made the opening of classes successful and memorable.

With the spirit of Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman, the Jasaan South District successfully launched the Brigada Eskwela 2026 District Kick-Off Program at Kimamaon Elementary School, bringing together education leaders, community stakeholders, volunteers, and local government officials in a shared commitment to preparing schools for the opening of classes.
The activity was led by Dr. Carnila D. Simacon, PhD., Public Schools District Supervisor, and graciously hosted by Vengie L. Gumahin, Head Teacher of Kimaya Elementary School, together with the School Heads and Brigada Eskwela Coordinators of Jasaan South District.
The event was further honored by the presence and support of the officials of Barangay Kimaya, Jasaan, Misamis Oriental:
• Capt. Absalon S. Punay
• Kag. Antonietta U. Jamlan
• Kag. Rosalina A. Jardin
• Kag. Maris E. Mainit
• Kag. Marlon O. Adajar
• SK Chairperson Margot Louise F. Jamlan
Their participation reflects the strong partnership between the school and the community in ensuring safe, clean, and learner-friendly learning environments for all.
As Brigada Eskwela 2026 officially begins, may this collective effort inspire more volunteers and stakeholders to continue supporting our schools through service, cooperation, and shared responsibility.
