On October 17, 2025, Natubo Integrated School joined the nation in commemorating the National Indigenous Peoples Month, honoring the rich heritage, culture, and contributions of our Indigenous communities.
The celebration was highlighted by the presence of the Higaonon Tribe of Natubo, led by the Higaonon Tribal Council, who conducted a solemn ritual ceremony to open the event. Also in attendance were the SK Chairwoman and Barangay Officials, showing strong community partnership and support for the school and the Indigenous Peoples.
As part of the activity, the Higaonon Tribal Council, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan, initiated a School Supplies Giving for elementary learners and a Feeding Program conducted by the Indigenous Peoples community demonstrating their commitment to nurturing both the minds and well-being of the learners.
Through this meaningful celebration, Natubo Integrated School reaffirms its dedication to promoting respect, inclusion, and appreciation for the cultural identity and traditions of our Indigenous Peoples.๐ต๐ญ
