Brigada Pagbasa LEAD: Learning to Ensure Academic Development

Brigada Pagbasa is one of the components of the Brigada Eskwela that seeks to enhance learners' reading skills and comprehension.

In line with the mission of the Department of Education, Macario Bermejo National High School launched Brigada Pagbasa Program which brought learners, educators, and stakeholders across sectors to equip Filipino learners with improved functional literacy skills.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the tutor-volunteers and teacher-volunteers for their service and commitment. In addition, our warmest thanks to the support of our school head, community partners, and reading coordinators.

As part of National Reading Month Celebration, Macario Bermejo NHS consistently sought to instill the love of reading to its students amidst the pandemic by encouraging students to conduct reading activities with their families at the comfort of their homes. This family reading experience created stronger parent-child bonds as well as learning memories that last a lifetime.
