YES-O San Pablo NHS

Ngayong ginugunita natin ang Araw ng mga Manggagawa o (Labor Day) May 1, 2026, nais ko lamang ibahagi ang isang maikling karanasan ko kasama ang isang jeepney driver.

Kahapon, nagpunta akong mag-isa sa Cabanatuan. Lumabas ako ng bahay bandang alas-diyes ng umaga, at halos mag-alas-onse na nang makasakay ako ng jeep. Akala ko nga ay wala nang dadaan dahil tanghali na, pero nagtiyaga akong maghintay sa ilalim ng init ng araw. Dumating pa sa punto na naisipan ko nang sumakay ng tricycle, pero wala ring dumadaan. Hanggang sa may biglang dumaan na sasakyan at agad ko itong pinara.

Sumakay ako sa likuran, pero nang makarating kami sa San Pablo, may sumakay na tatlong pasahero. Nakiusap ang driver kung maaari bang may lumipat sa harap para makasakay ang lahat. Nagkatinginan kami kung sino ang aalis sa pwesto. Malayo naman kasi ako sa pinto at marami pa akong dadaanan bago makababa. Ngunit nakiusap sa akin ang driver kung pwede ba akong lumipat, at hindi naman ako nag-atubiling bumaba at umupo sa harap katabi ang isa pang pasahero.

Habang nasa biyahe, nakipagkwentuhan kami. Tinanong niya ako, "Gaano ka katagal naghintay, pate?"

"Mga 30 minutes po," sagot ko.

Sabi niya, "Mabuti at nakasakay ka na, last trip na 'to papuntang Cabanatuan."

Ikinuwento rin niya na buti na lang at nakabawi siya ng kita ngayon, dahil noong isang araw daw ay isa lang ang sakay niya. Ang nakuha niyang 60 pesos ay kulang pa nga raw pambili ng gasolina.

Nang malapit na akong bumaba, inabot ko ang bayad ko. Binigyan ko siya ng 100 pesos at sinabing, "Eto po, 'wag niyo na po akong suklian."

Pero agad siyang tumanggi: "Ay naku, hindi ako papayag diyan. Magagalit ako sa'yo." pabiro nyang sabi pero alam kong seryoso sya.

Pinilit ko pa rin siya pero talagang ayaw niyang tanggapin kaya ibinalik niya sa akin ang sukli. Nakipagkwentuhan pa kami hanggang sa makababa ako sa SM. Inalok pa niya akong ipasok ang jeep sa loob para hindi na ako maglakad nang malayo.

Nangyong Araw ng Kagitingan, we remember the courage of our heroes who gave everything for our country. Today, as youth and stewards of the environment, we carry that same spirit of bravery by standing up for nature. Protecting our environment is our way of showing love for our nation—para sa bayan, para sa kalikasan.

Today, as we celebrate Easter Sunday, we are reminded of the greatest victory in history—the resurrection of Jesus Christ. From the pain of the cross to the glory of the empty tomb, His love conquered sin and death, giving us hope, grace, and a new beginning.

This day is not just a celebration, but a powerful reminder that no darkness can overcome His light, and no challenge is greater than His power. Just as He rose, we too are given the chance to rise above our struggles, renew our faith, and continue our journey with courage and purpose.

‎Ito ay isang pandaigdigang inisyatiba na naglalayong itaas ang kamalayan tungkol sa pagbabago ng klima at pangangalaga sa ating likas na yaman. Sa loob ng isang oras, sama-sama nating ipinapakita ang pagkakaisa, malasakit, at pagpapahalaga sa Inang Kalikasan sa pamamagitan ng pagtitipid ng enerhiya. Sa ating kolektibong pakikiisa, malaki ang maitutulong natin para sa mas maunlad at ligtas na kinabukasan ng bayan at ng buong mundo.
